#KoiwaiFarm #Iwate There is a bus from Morioka Station to Koiwai Farm, and it is common to board the bus from there. This was my first time here, but it was so spacious! The weather was clear and I could see far into the distance, so the scenery was amazing! Speaking of farms, it's soft serve ice cream! I don't usually eat cold things, but when I tried it, it was so delicious that I could easily eat two! There is also a steam locomotive preserved on the premises, which is reminiscent of Night on the Galactic Railroad. Koiwai Farm, located at the southern foot of Mount Iwate, is a vast expanse of green land filled with a sense of openness. Adjacent to the Koiwai Farm Makiba-en is the Kamimaru Barn, the birthplace of Koiwai Farm's dairy farming. About 300 mother cows and calves live here. In the early morning, you can see them stretching out outside the barn. You can visit the cowshed, ride a pony🐴 (800 yen including tax for one lap of the space), and see the sheep and horses on the farm, enjoying nature 150%✨ The air is really clear✨ I took a deep breath many times and wanted the air in my body to be from Koiwai! At the restaurant just inside the entrance gate to the premises, you can enjoy yakiniku (grilled meat) with beef, pork, lamb and vegetables. At one of the shops, you can enjoy thick, cold and creamy ice cream that can only be found at Koiwai Farm. The food was also pretty amazing. Of the restaurants at Koiwai Farm, there are few that operate entirely from inside the shop, and this shop is one of them. There are only about 20 seats inside the shop, so you can relax and enjoy your time. It's a good place to drop in when you get tired of walking around. We recommend the cheesecake and drink set.
