Nearly 10 years have passed since I learned about Menghuo City and today when I first came here. For some reason, that friend deleted the contact information of me and all my friends one day. Many years later we found out that he had passed away due to a serious illness. The reason he deleted us from his address book was because he didn't want us to be too sad when we faced separation. Standing between heaven and earth at the empty tomb of Meng Huo City, what comes to my mind is his voice, appearance and smile. I really needed a trip to escape the city recently! This time, I chose Yingjing and Shimian in Ya'an, two small and popular towns full of local life, and I was really healed! # *Day 1: Yingjing - A Collision of Forests and Ancient Charm* 🌲 *Recommended Activities: Yingjing Yunfeng Temple The temple is built on a mountain, simple and quiet, with a sense of mystery in the smoke. 🏕️ I took my pet on a trip during the holidays! Our destination was the beautiful Meng Huo Cheng, where we checked in to a fantastic tent camp—the Meng Huo Cheng Xiang Ye Er Mian Tent Camp! The surroundings here are absolutely stunning. With a primeval forest, a popular suspension bridge, and a glass walkway all nearby, it felt like we were living in the heart of nature! 🌲 Stunning Views Outside the Tent: As soon as I opened my eyes, I was greeted by the breathtaking forest scenery. It was as if I was a part of the forest itself. The morning sunlight filtering through the trees felt incredibly warm. 🛁 Excellent Amenities: Even though we were staying in a tent, the amenities were top-notch. Towels, lounge chairs, and coffee tables were all provided, along with artistic wall decorations. It was truly stylish! 🐾 Pet-Friendly: This place is incredibly pet-friendly. Nian Gao had a blast playing here and even met many new friends. Everyone frolicked together on the grass, and it was pure joy! 🍄 Surprises Nearby: There were so many pleasant surprises around the camp. Today, I'm recommending a magical place where you can experience the thrill of rolling in the snow and the joy of basking in the spring sunshine all at once—Meng Huo Cheng in Shimian County, Sichuan. At an altitude of 2,600 meters, with an average annual temperature of 17°C, Meng Huo Cheng offers not only snow-capped mountains and verdant meadows in spring but also the occasional spectacle of "the sun wearing a straw hat," a true testament to nature's whimsical side. Although spring has arrived, the high-altitude Meng Huo Cheng still retains the "chill" of winter. The roofs of the Yi villages nestled in the mountains are piled with remnants of snow, the yellow walls and green tiles set against the white snow resembling an overturned palette. Footprints and tire tracks crisscross the snow, as if Picasso himself had paid a visit. The snowy scenery near the Tuowu Mountain double-helix tunnel is even more magical.
