This is a wonderful god who is said to bring blessings to all relationships as the god of matchmaking.
After passing through the second torii gate, you will meet the main deity, Okuninushi-no-Mikoto.
The worship method here is unique, with two bows, four claps, and one bow.
The large rope at the Kagura-den hall is impressive and beautiful!
Going there early in the morning when there are fewer people, and being able to worship slowly while basking in the morning sun was a very mystical experience.
After passing through the approach, there is a copper torii gate.
A local man told me that if you touch and turn this copper torii gate, your "money luck will improve," but according to the official Q&A, this is a fabrication and not a belief that has been around since ancient times at Izumo Taisha Shrine.

The land of Japanese gods came out of the cloud big brother
as early as last year, I planted a cloud, because my friend said that this is the home of ghosts in Japan! After sitting on the special train, I found that this is actually the land of the gods in the hearts of the Japanese, and also the holy place for the love of marriage! Although Izumo Taisha is remote, it does not affect its popularity and its status as the second shrine in Japan (the first is the Ise Jingu Shrine). There are not many people coming to visit the love marriages all over the country!
If the weather is good, the beach here is a good place to watch the sunset, but unfortunately when we arrived, the weather was not good, we could only go to the beach to go!
Transportation: Depart from Songjiang City, take JR to Izumo Station, transfer to the private railway to go to Izumo Taisha Station!
Travel Tips: There are 46 cute bunny in the big club. It is said that it is easier to find a bunny with a heart! !
Exploring the Hokkaido National Museum: Discovering the History and Culture of Izumo Taisha
During my visit to Shimane Prefecture in Japan, I visited the Hokkaido National Museum located near Izumo Taisha, an excellent place for a deep dive into the history and culture of Izumo Taisha. I took thirteen photos to document this inspiring visit.
The Hokkaido National Museum displays many artifacts and materials related to Izumo Taisha, allowing for a deeper understanding of the history and stories behind this shrine. The exhibits include ancient ceremonial tools, historical documents of the shrine, and exquisite traditional crafts. Each exhibit tells a unique piece of history, giving me a more comprehensive understanding of Izumo Taisha.
Throughout the visit, I was deeply attracted to the displayed artifacts and materials, which not only showed the religious significance of Izumo Taisha but also the rich cultural heritage of the area. I particularly loved the intricate crafts, which showcased the superb skill and aesthetics of Japanese traditional craftsmanship.
The architecture of the Hokkaido National Museum itself is also a sight to behold, with the traditional Japanese architectural style complementing the surrounding natural landscape, creating a serene and solemn atmosphere. I took many photos inside and outside the museum, hoping to share these beautiful moments with everyone.
This visit to the Hokkaido National Museum not only allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the history and culture of Izumo Taisha but also made me appreciate the charm of Japanese traditional crafts and the importance of cultural heritage. I will forever treasure these wonderful memories and look forward to returning here in the future to explore more of the beauty of history and culture.

Matsue-jō Castle Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jul)
Songjiang City, a place where people are less beautiful, an intoxicating sunset
located in Songjiang City, the capital of Shimane Prefecture in Japan, is definitely not a popular place. There are not many tourists, but it is a small beauty!
Songjiang City with Tianshou Pavilion is one of the must-have places, overlooking the city view of Songjiang City! From Songjiang City, you can walk along the bridge to the Shimane Prefectural Museum of Art. It is not only a strong design, but also a beautiful place to watch the sunset!
Transportation: Take JR to reach Songjiang Station! You can take a sightseeing bus in the city or walk on foot!
Travel Tips: There are no restaurants and convenience stores around the location where you watch the sunset. Friends who want to wait for the sunset and are hungry remember to buy food and water! In addition, the evening before sunset is the best time to shoot backlit portraits, don't miss it!
The cherry blossoms are splendid
The cherry blossoms bloom in radiant beauty, with the pink trees and clouds dyeing the view breathtakingly. After dozens of trips to Japan, it was in Matsue, Shikoku, that I first admired the brilliance of the Kawazu early cherry blossoms. Trees laden with flowers, like clouds or like rosy mists, envelop one in a springtime of pink splendor and romance, intoxicating to behold. The weather is clear, the fragrance wafts gently, and standing amidst the cherry blossoms, even if not for the purpose of flower viewing, one can't help but become an admirer.
Songjiang City, located in Shimane Prefecture, is one of the representatives of ancient Japanese culture, and Songjiang City is a symbol of Songjiang. Built in 1611, it is one of the 12 existing ancient castles in Japan, a national treasure cultural heritage.
Ascend to the city, the entire Songjiang City has a panoramic view, and the distant mountains and water houses are intertwined. Near the castle, it is the residence of the left warrior, plus the tea ceremony, flower path, Japanese style and fruit that followed, exuding the atmosphere of the Edo period.
When the Songjiang ancient city was built, many waterways were dug for the protection of the castle and military needs, so Songjiang was also known as the water city. The best way to experience this ancient capital of more than 400 years is to take a boat to protect the city.
When the boat passes under the bridge, the boatman will press the height of the bridge bottom to lower the ceiling, and the beautiful scenery will be taken. The boatman will sing long Songjiang folk songs and spread the scenery along the coast.
Uppuruifusha Park Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jul)
In the Uppuruisha Park
#travelanywhere The view of the Sea of Japan is amazing. If the weather is good, you can see Oki Island in the distance. It's no wonder that the Matsue clan used to look out for the purpose of scouting for foreign ships. The long stairs were very easy to climb and gave me good exercise. It is breathtaking and you can enjoy the 360 degree view🫶🏻 It also has a great spot for parking!
Uppuruifusha Park 十六島風車公
#travelanywhere You can see huge wind turbines up close. The sound of windmills is also very impressive. If it's sunny, the contrast between the blue sky and sea, the green mountains, and the white windmills is very vivia. I think it's a perfect place to eat lunch at a family picnic. And a great spot with a wonderful view. It is perfect tour of someone who loves windmills🫶🏻This time I wanted to go at dusk.

Iwami Ginzan Silver Mine Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jul)
Shimane|| World Heritage Town around the World Heritage Site
|| World Heritage Town around the World Heritage Site.🚶 Visit the World Heritage Site Iwami Ginzan in Oda City, Shimane Prefecture.
📌Omori Town
📌Onsen Tsu
.
Passing through the small town of Omori, which is adjacent to Ginzan, and then to the port hot spring town of Onsen Tsu, which developed due to mining, the street view is simple and quiet, undoubtedly a slow life.
.
There are occasional new store signs, or the enthusiastic introduction of shop owners who have moved from big cities like Tokyo, indicating the new changes in the town over the years.
.
Think of Matsuo Basho's 'Not easy to follow'.
.
📝In the Daikan Mountain Ruins-Dragon Source Temple Tunnel section in Omori Town, you can rent electric bicycles or golf carts (up to 6 people) at the Kawamura Bicycle Shop🚲, and the golf carts do not operate every Wednesday.
Shi see Yinshan, a world cultural heritage. In 2007, Shijian Yinshan Site and its Cultural Landscape became the 14th World Heritage Site in Japan and the first mine site in Asia to be registered as a World Heritage Site.
It is said that during the heyday of the first half of the 16th and 17th centuries, Japanese silver accounted for about one-third of the world's silver production, most of which was produced in Shijian Yinshan. If you didn't do your homework beforehand, it's hard to imagine such a beautiful and fresh place, it turned out to be a mine relic.
Original plan, just a rough feeling of the mine town walk, but it is reluctant to leave, become one of the favorite places of this trip to Sanyin. These were originally the supporting facilities for the miners' living and living, and now they have become beautiful and quiet villages in the mountains.
