This is a trip you won't want to miss! -------- 🚗Itinerary: DAY 1: Depart from Lhasa and visit the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd viewing platforms of Yamdrok Lake. Admire the Karola Glacier and Manla Reservoir before arriving in Shigatse. DAY 2-3: Depart from Shigatse and visit Tashilhunpo Monastery. Travel along National Highway 318 to Everest Base Camp and stay overnight in Basong Village. The next day, visit Peiku Tso Lake, view Shishapangma Peak from afar, and head to Saga. DAY 4: There are two routes from Saga. The non-circumambulation route goes to Lake Manasarovar and Mount Naimona'nyi. The circumambulation route goes to Darchen to start the Mount Kailash circumambulation tour. DAY 5: The non-circumambulation route continues to explore Mount Kailash, Zanda Earth Forest, and the Guge Kingdom. The circumambulation route returns to Darchen from Zhire Monastery. DAY 6-7: Depart from Darchen and pass Gongzhu Co Lake and Maquan River Wetland Park before arriving in Saga. The next day, visit several lakes along the way, including Dajia Co Lake and Zhari Namco Lake, and stay overnight in Wenbu South Village. DAY 8: Travel through Wenbu North Village and pass several beautiful lakes before arriving at Siling Co Lake. Continue to Gaxiong Village to stargaze. DAY 9: Depart from Gaxiong Village and visit Shengxiang Tianmen and Namtso Lake. Pass Nagenla Mountain Pass and Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains before returning to Lhasa. -------- Travel essentials: 🎒 👚 Clothing: Down jacket, thermal underwear, windbreaker, and jeans. Cold and wind protection is key. 🎩 Accessories: Hat, sunglasses, scarf, and gloves. Sun protection and warmth are both important. Also, don't forget to bring rain gear in case of sudden weather changes. 📂 Documents: ID card and cash. Some areas of Lhasa may not have banks, so be sure to bring cash.
