Shaoguan has many great places to take photos. Here are some recommendations for natural landscapes, historical and cultural sites, and urban leisure spots:
Natural landscapes
• Danxia Mountain: A UNESCO World Heritage Site and a national 5A-level tourist attraction, Danxia Mountain is famous for its unique Danxia landform, with more than 680 red sandstone rocks and peak forest landforms. You can watch the sunrise at Changlao Peak, the sunset at Yangyuan Stone Scenic Area, and take a boat ride along the Jinjiang Gallery to enjoy the Danxia scenery on both sides of the river.
• Guangdong Grand Canyon: The canyon is 15 km long, with steep valleys, waterfalls, and streams, and offers a variety of outdoor activities. You can hike along the canyon trail, feel the shock at the bottom of the waterfall, and look out at the mountains in the distance from the top of the canyon.
• Yunmen Mountain: A combination of mountain and water scenery, Buddhist culture, and entertainment and leisure, with a 100-meter-high waterfall, as well as ancient temples such as Yunmen Temple and Baolin Temple.

• Meiguan Ancient Road: An important ancient passage connecting the Central Plains and Lingnan, with profound historical and cultural value, you can take photos of the ancient road, ancient pavilions, ancient stone carvings, and the surrounding natural scenery.
• Longgui Granary: Originally a grain processing plant and storage building, it has now been transformed into the Shaoguan Wujing Rural Revitalization Training and Practice Center, full of industrial style, suitable for shooting industrial style photos.
