For this time we will talk about typical North West dishes. Mian or noodles. 🌧️This ancient village demon tower is the most eerie place I have ever been to in my life. When I arrived at the Xuewei No. 1 Tomb at the beginning of the year, I felt that it was a Feng Shui treasure land, endless, quiet and pleasant. This time when I went to Baoji, I heard that there was a so-called "Seven-story Demon Tower". I was a little excited. I drove through the winding mountain road and arrived at the gate in the rain, only to find that the gate to the mountain pass was locked. 🚪I thought it might be closed for maintenance or something, so I walked closer and saw the guy in the management office watching TV. I asked if I could come in, and he pointed to the path next to it without even turning his head. It turns out that there is a small path on the side of the gate, sandwiched between the management office. As you enter the mountain gate, you will see a stone bridge. The waterfalls and vegetation hanging down from the mountain wall make it seem like few people come here. 🌿We saw a man and a woman walking out on the stone bridge. We curiously asked for directions. They said in panic that they didn’t go in because they met a big dog halfway that circled around them and kept following them, so they had no choice but to retreat. We felt pretty good about ourselves so we continued walking inside, thinking there was nothing to be afraid of about dogs… 🐶Then just after we turned the corner in the mountain, we saw that big dog coming towards us and looking at us. My whole body went numb and I immediately turned around and walked away. I thought to myself, "I'm afraid of this dog too..." The dog followed us all the way to the management office, and we insisted on going back when we got the chance to go back... After pushing the door open, it looked like there were people living inside, but there was no one around. There were only Taoist statues inside. After walking through the first floor, there is another Taoist temple up the slope. I thought I had gone the wrong way because I didn’t see the multi-story building as shown in the photos online. In fact, I had to continue walking up the stairs in the middle of the second floor Taoist temple. The stairwell was cold and uncomfortable. When I went up to the second floor, there were many statues on both sides, but the pale white woven lights looked particularly scary in the cold afternoon. I walked up with my head down and could see the "Seven-story Demon Tower" through the end of the corridor. 🏯When I saw that the place was fenced off and no one was allowed to enter, I felt secretly happy because I really didn’t want to go any further... I stood under the "Demon Tower" and admired the peculiar architecture and its fusion with nature.
