The end of the world is snow-capped mountains and the sea: Aurora Chasing Tour in Murmansk.
The photos from January this year have just been sorted out. I visited Murmansk for the first time and chartered a car to the small town of Teriberka to see the Arctic Ocean and the Aurora. The road is difficult to drive, and it takes about 3-4 hours to arrive. Chartering a car costs 400-600 yuan. There are snow-capped mountains and sea along the way.
It will be light at 10am every day and dark at 16pm. Waiting for the aurora after 22:00 every night, the wind is very strong, but due to the small light pollution in Teriberka, the chance of seeing the aurora is greater.
The Arctic Ocean is beautiful, and I went to Longdan Beach and cliffs. Generally speaking, you should prepare sports equipment and wear thick clothes. If you climb snowy mountains, it may be a little dangerous.
Try to avoid the snowstorm, otherwise the road will be closed and you will not be able to return.
