#EmotionalAccommodation With the weather dropping below freezing these days, my trip to Sapporo last July kept coming back to me, so I opened my photo album. I stayed at "Yurakyusoan" in Jozankei Onsen Village, and it was truly the epitome of healing. ♨️ As soon as I opened the door, the gentle scent of cypress (hinoki) wafted in, calming my mind. The best part was the private natural hot spring baths in each room! I opened the window wide and enjoyed a half-bath while gazing at the forest view. The harmony of the fresh air and the warm water... it's truly indescribable. After sweating it out in the steaming bath, my skin felt as soft and radiant as if I'd just visited a beauty salon. 😢 And in addition to the large public bath, there are four private, free-use baths, so you can choose which one to use. I was so happy to be able to enjoy my time alone, without worrying about what others thought, splashing around in the water, taking tons of photos, and just enjoying my time alone. I wore a beautiful yukata and strolled along the Jozankei forest path. The lush green scenery in July was picturesque, but I can't imagine how magical it would be in winter, with heavy snowfall like this. Enjoying an open-air bath while gazing at the white snow is the dream of a ryokan, isn't it? Imagine basking in the cold winter breeze and thawing in the warm waters of a hot spring... We've all had that dream at least once, right? The refreshing summer memories were wonderful, but I definitely want to come back on a snowy day and soak in the hot springs while enjoying the snowy scenery. I decided to go to Asahikawa, so I flew from Fukuoka to New Chitose Airport. Driving in the snow was too much of a hassle, so I headed to Sapporo Station and planned to take the express train. Just as I was about to board, the trains in Asahikawa were suspended due to snow! After waiting for three hours, I finally got on and ended up standing there for two hours, packed like sardines! I thought I was going to die!! I ate my fill of delicious food in Asahikawa and was totally satisfied! The rice was especially good! Yumepirika was amazing. It's expensive, but I'll definitely buy Yumepirika from now on!😍 The ramen was also delicious! I wonder what ramen everyone likes? ? Finally, I ate Masumoto ramen after returning home. The restaurant is conveniently located near Tanukikoji Shopping Street, about a 3-5 minute walk from either Susukino Station or Hosui-Susukino Station on the streetcar line. There are three set menus to choose from. The most affordable option is 8,800 yen, which includes unlimited snow crab, beef belly, and pork. The mid-tier option is 11,000 yen, adding king crab and beef tongue. The premium option is 12,000 yen, which also includes wagyu beef.
