Our group trip to Santorini was beyond magical! The island lived up to its reputation with its stunning views, whitewashed buildings, and deep blue sea. We stayed in Fira, which is the perfect base for exploring. One of the highlights was watching the sunset in Oia—absolutely breathtaking! We didn’t need to pay an entrance fee, just found a good spot on the cliffs with a view over the caldera.
We also took a boat trip to the volcanic islands of Nea Kameni and Palea Kameni, which cost around €20 for the tour. Hiking up the volcano was surreal, and the views were incredible. Afterward, we swam in the hot springs—a perfect way to relax after the hike.
Santorini’s nightlife was great for a group—lots of lively bars in Fira. And of course, the food was amazing! We shared platters of fresh seafood and local specialties like fava and tomato fritters at every meal.

Cruising Through Paradise: Santorini Catamaran Experience
Santorini’s gorgeous coastline is best seen from the water. Hope on to a catamaran for a relaxing cruise tour around the island. If you choose the evening tour you can see perfect sunsets.
Getting There - I joined a half day catamaran tour and got picked up by a van to go to the cruise.
Attractions -
1. Red Beach
This is a volcanic sand beach on Aegean island of Santorini. It is known for the distinct red colour.
2. Mesa Pigadia
This is a small beach with dark blue crystal clear waters. Take time to admire the beautiful cliffs around.
3. Volcanic hot spring
The cruise will stop at this natural hot spring and free to jump into the water to experience it.
Food - The crew cooked delicious food for us on board, ranging from grilled meat to traditional greek salad and wine rolls. Of course, there were free wine to go together too.

There’s no entrance fee to enjoy the sunset—just find a good spot along the cliffs or book a restaurant with a view (though prices can be steep in those spots, around €30-50 for a meal).

After the sunset, I wandered through Oia’s charming narrow streets filled with boutique shops and cafes. Also, take a day or sunset cruise to go around the volcanic islands and sail on the stunning Aegean sea.
Hotels - There are many options to stay that allow you to get a perfect sea view, including Airbnbs, cave hotels and hotels with outdoor baths. Recommend staying in Fira or Oia for convenience and food options.
Food & Restaurants - Try delicious greek food, gyros, fresh seafood and greek salads all around Santorini, with many shops concentrated in Fira town and Oia town.
Shopping - There are many souvenir shops around, especially in Fira and Oia towns where most shops are concentrated. There are many products derived from olive and olive oil that you can buy as souvenirs.

Just got back from the most dreamy couple's vacation in Santorini, and it was everything we hoped for and more! 💙 The whitewashed buildings with blue domes, narrow cobblestone streets, and those endless views of the Aegean Sea were just picture-perfect! 📸 We stayed in Oia, which is known for its stunning sunsets, and let me tell you, they were beyond magical. Watching the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange, was the highlight of our evenings. 🌅
We splurged a little and stayed in a cliffside hotel with a private balcony and a small plunge pool overlooking the caldera. Waking up to that view every morning felt like living in a postcard! 😍 One of the best things we did was rent an ATV to explore the island. It cost around €40 for the day and was totally worth it for the freedom to visit spots like Red Beach, the charming village of Pyrgos, and the ancient ruins of Akrotiri. 🚗
No visit to Santorini would be complete without trying the local food. We dined at some fantastic tavernas, enjoying fresh seafood, moussaka, and of course, lots of Greek salad! 🥗 One night, we booked a table at a rooftop restaurant in Fira – the views were breathtaking, especially with the city lights sparkling below us. The wine tasting at a local vineyard was another great experience; Santorini's volcanic soil makes for some unique and delicious wines! 🍷

Greece in July... is not just a place name, it has a place in my heart!
When traveling, some places are not just place names, but special places that are deeply engraved in your heart. Santorini, Greece in July, and Imeroviglio in particular, was such a place. 🌊
Imeroviglio is a small town that makes you feel as if time has stopped flowing. It actually felt like time was passing slowly. 🩵 When the sun sets, the white buildings are dyed in red sunset light, creating a mystical spectacle. As you walk through the alleys here, you will be greeted by small, hidden cafes and shops, and you will feel your heart at ease in the quiet atmosphere. It is the epitome of slow life.
A glass of wine while looking at the sea from the terrace makes you forget all the worries of the world, and when you see the blue waves of the sea gently rippling, it is so beautiful that you feel as if you are in a scene from a movie. And at that moment, I was sure that every moment here would be forever memorable☺
The daily life in Imerovigli is simple, but the happiness found in it gives a deep satisfaction that is hard to find in any fancy travel destination. Unlike other famous areas in Santorini, it was not crowded with tourists, so I could feel the more leisurely and authentic charm of Greece!
The memories here are precious treasures that I want to keep for the rest of my life.

There are two hotels that I remember the most from my trip to Greece.
One is the place where I was proposed to (of course...1st place✨).
The other is right here! If you ever plan to travel to Greece, you should definitely visit here. The town here is quiet and great. #pyrgos
It suddenly feels like going to another desert country...
and the drive on the way there is so magnificent.
Another thing that I really liked was that most of the hotels are adults only☺
I fell in love with Pyrgos...
I postponed my original itinerary to Athens,
and extended my flight by one day to stay in Pyrgos a little longer.

One thing you need to know is
You can't stay for 1 night, and you have to book 2 nights here. (1.8-2 million won for 2 nights)
But what's 2 nights...? It's a place I want to stay for a week. It was so cozy and homey, and when you go out to the terrace, it feels like you're looking down from above, but it's also like you're looking at it from a flat eye level... It was a huge merit that you could see the sun rising and setting from the right and left all in one place. It was so crazy beautiful that it was nice to just stare at the view...........
There are also many delicious restaurants nearby.
There are some right in front of you, but there are more if you go down 10 minutes!
Ha Pyrgos neighborhood...I have so many things I want to say separately ㅠㅠ🩶
Ah! And I've been to many nice hotels,
but it was the only one in Santorini that had a gym!

and they gave me first aid right away, so I smiled and said I was okay and asked them to just disinfect it well! 😉 If you say sorry first, you won't have to raise your voice, right?

The sunset in Santorini is a unique romance of the Aegean Sea

Although Santorini has been heavily criticized by tourists, with many warning posts, we were still amazed on our first visit to Santorini. Whether it's the scenery or the service facilities, it surpasses all the 'little Santorinis'. This blue and white domed architectural complex built along the mountain has not yet found a city or town that can replace it.
‼️However, the shortcomings of Santorini must also be mentioned:
1. The public bus system is very chaotic, and the timetable is not integrated into Google Maps. However, you can get a paper timetable as soon as you get off the plane, which is generally accurate, with a margin of error of 10 minutes early or late. At popular attractions like Fira and Oia, you won't miss the bus. The roads are dusty, and people drive recklessly, making it unfriendly for non-self-driving tourists.
2. Accommodation in Fira and Oia is generally expensive, with restaurants offering good views costing at least 50💶 per person.
3. It's hot and sunny!
💡In summary, here is a suitable itinerary for summer and some photo spots:
1️⃣ Around 9 am, take Bus 10 from Santorini Bus Stop in Fira to Oia, which takes about 25 minutes.
2️⃣ The classic angle in Oia is the Picturesque Blue Dome Santorini (p12). In the afternoon, it's backlit, and around 11 am, you can take a photo after waiting for about 10 minutes. Walk along the main road of the town to the Windmill of Oia, which is a photo spot for the windmill. Both are in Oia.
3️⃣ Have lunch in Oia and take the bus back to Fira around 14:20.
4️⃣ It's recommended to rest at your accommodation until around 19:00 before going out. The light is good at that time, and the temperature has dropped. Fira itself is not very big.
5️⃣ Half an hour before sunset, you can walk to the I Love Santorini area, where the whole road is lined with sunset viewing platforms.
6️⃣ After sunset, you can slowly walk along the road to Viewpoint Fira at night, where the lights gradually come on during the blue hour.
7️⃣ Walk to the Santorini Cable Car - Upper Station, and it will be completely dark by then.

Both are a bit far, so consider accordingly.
