This includes the 80 dragons which originally adorned the roofs, each carved from gilded wood.

Richmond Park, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, is the largest of London's Royal Parks, and is of national and international importance for wildlife conservation. What is the best time to visit Richmond Park? At the weekends, especially during spring and summer, the park will be packed with families and tourists. Usually the best time to visit, if you want to avoid the crowds, is first thing in the morning (before 10am) or in the evening when everyone is heading home (7pm or later).

Richmond Park is a place you got to see the real England. Many people do biking, running and all sort of things.

Forests, barren fields, flocks of deer - this is London’s Richmond Park. Not only is it home to beautiful natural scenery, there are over 100 wild deer here. It is one of the world’s most important wildlife reservations, offering silence and peace typically alien to a global, metropolitan city. Even though it was pouring and the wind was tearing through the area when I got there, with my afternoon walk being rather difficult, my wish was granted and I was able to see these free creatures.

Highlights: Although it is called Strawberry Hill House & Garden, this place is actually a restored Gothic castle. The house is a good example of Georgian Gothic revival architecture. You will find some very creative architecture and decorations. If you are a student of Gothic literature, the house is a must-see.
