It makes a great place for a late afternoon stroll while admiring the golden hour right before sunset. Rawai Landing Pier is located in between the Beach and Rawai Seafood Market, in Phuket. Several boats taking tourists to nearby islands also depart from this pier. It is possible to descend from the steps of the pier onto the sand and walk into the shallow waters. The long jetty that juts out into the sea makes an awesome instagram spot! I highly recommending giving the pier a visit if you find yourself in the vicinity of Rawai. There's something calming and romantic about taking a slow walk with your partner up and down the jetty. Besides, the seafood market is less than a minute's walk away. Perfect place to catch a delicious dinner by the sea after a beautiful sunset stroll. Tips for visiting Rawai Landing Pier: 1. Go about 30 minutes before sunset, go to the beach first! 2. Rawai beach is located in the most southern beach in Phuket only it is not for swimming. Rawai Beach is used to store boats and its pier used for ferries. Since its beach isn’t good enough for swimming, it is not a very touristic area but it is civilized due to a high number of expats living there. It is still worth visiting Rawai Beach because there is a number of restaurants and bars located right on the beach so you can eat and dink with a stunning view of shimmering blue. Another reason to visit Rawai Beac is to visit the Rawai beach pier. It is a beautiful long pier that leads into the ocean. The view from the pier is simply stunning and I even saw some people jumping in the water and snorkeling at the end of the pier. I could see a lot of islands in the horizon and a lot of fish in the sea while standing there. You can take a ferry to Koh Phi Phi (from the movie The Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio) from Rawai Pier. Check with local tour agencies for tickets or books your on the Trip.com app. You can easily get to Rawai beach by Phuket Smart Bus if you stay along the bus route (bus fare is 100THB) or a local bus from Phuket Town (bus fare is around 40THB), you can also grab a taxi or drive your own scooter or car to get to Rawai Beach. One of my favourite places to go back to when I visit Phuket.. A beautiful fishing village with tons of restaurants, cafes, massage parlours, shops and fishing boats to hop over to one of the many beautiful islands. By night you have live music, great thai and western food, fish market, and lots of trucks cooking things like banana pancakes fresh for you. Peaceful place with a lovely atmosphere!

A mix of peace, bustling restaurants, bars, massage parlours, tattoo shops. You can catch a boat over to one of the many islands or enjoy some seafood at the fish market. By night there are bars with pool tables, live bands and a delicious mix of thai or western foot. A real friendly place with excellent shops to get your stocks in. Most drive around on scooters and there is a great bus route to the airport.

Rawai View Cafe is a Thai restaurant with a seaside view. Rawai View is decorated in a Green Architecture style, using natural materials for its decor. The space is airy and comfortable. If you come in the evening to watch the sunset, it's very beautiful. Enjoying a meal while looking at the sea view is delightful. The food is delicious, and the restaurant has a charming atmosphere. If you like a seaside vibe, it's recommended. Rawai View is located in Soi Laem Promthep. Drive past the Rawai Subdistrict Municipality a little and turn into the first soi on the left. Follow the soi, and you will find the restaurant right by the road, where you can park directly in front of the restaurant. 📍Opening hours: 10:00 - 22:00 (Closed every Thursday)

Getting There - Get a bike and ride Attractions - this is a quieter beach than your common ones like Pating and Karon but definitely worth a trip.
