Among them, I traveled to Sicily for 2 weeks, and it was so good that I could say it was the travel destination of my life! 📍Sicily / Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean, is also famous as an island of gourmet food because it is rich in seafood. - Palermo: The capital of Sicily, the largest port city, and a city with outstanding artistic qualities. - Catania: Catania, the second largest city in Sicily with a view of Mount Etna! Unlike Palermo, it is a city with a very old-fashioned feel. - Siracusa: A city that can be reached by train in about an hour from Catania, where ancient Greek culture remains intact. 📍Napoli / Napoli, famous as one of the world's three most beautiful ports! The third largest city in Italy after Rome and Milan! Especially, Neapolitan pizza is very famous🍕 📍Bacoli / Bacoli, a nearby city that can be reached in 3-40 minutes from Naples, has beautiful beaches, lakes, and well-preserved ancient ruins. It's a great day trip. 📍Positano / Positano is a beautiful resort city where you can find Italian sensibility! The coastal cliff town feels like a watercolor village. The atmosphere is really fantastic, so it's a city that I definitely recommend when traveling to the south. 📍Amalfi / Amalfi, a coastal city that you must visit before you die. It had a different feel from Positano. The beach was so pretty that I couldn't help but swim! Amalfi, which is great for leisurely enjoyment, is a must-visit. 📍Sorrento / Sorrento, a city famous for the Naples folk song, "Come Back, Sorrento." Cefalù in Sicily is a popular holiday resort for Europeans. In addition to its beautiful beaches, it also has the Cefalù Cathedral and the Cefalù Rock behind the cathedral, which is also one of the highlights. I had to transit in Milan, but because the flight was delayed, I ran and ran with the help of the flight attendants and arrived in Palermo, Italy on Ryanair~!😂😂 Ha.. 🇮🇹 1 day in Palermo 🛳️ Transportation Cruise: Napoli ➡️ Palermo 💺 Types of seats: Cabin bed (2 or 4 beds in a room) / seat 💫 My option: seat and spent most of the time in the 24-hour bar ⏳Duration: 10 hours, overnight 🛝 Facilities in cruise: Cafe / Bar / Restaurant/ Gaming Area / Children Room/ Shops 🏠 Accommodation Astoria Palace hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 I stayed 4 nights in this hotel, for more details please check my review on the profile~ 1. Cleaniness 🧹 Clean and tidy, there are staffs helping to clean the bathroom and bed every day. 🛀 2. Facilities No kettle for hot water, ♨️if you’re booking a standard room. You could only get it from the bar which closed at 22:30. For those who might want cup noodles for supper, you better do it before 22:30 :) 🍜 3. Location 📍 Quite far away from the city centre. Bus never came... Rent a scooter 🛴 if you’re in a hurry, or ask staffs to call taxi. 🚕 📍 Itinerary Overview 🗓️ Day 1 📍Teatro Massimo di Palermo 🎭 The biggest opera house in Italy! The first 2 pictures have shown the outside and inside of the building. There are tours that brings you to explore the interior, and the tour guide is here to explain every detail, history and design. The tour takes 40 minutes ⏳, costs less than €10 💰per person which is really worth it! 🪄This is probably my fav spot in Palermo 💖 📍Chiesa e Monastero di Santa Caterina d'Alessandria There are 2 types of ticket 🎫 you could choose, one is only for entry costs €3, another one includes rooftop costs €10. Buy the tickets in your needs~ I highly recommend the €10 ticket, except for the rooftop, there’re many paintings or sculptures which explains Jesus’ sacrifice for humanity sins. By following the only route, you arrive to rooftop at the end. You can see Fontana Pretoria there. ⛲️ 🍝 Local Cuisine 1️⃣ Ke Palle (pic 8&9) Famous Sicilia fried rice ball 🍙 you must give it a try before leaving Sicily! They usually use risotto / pasta with cheese in the rice ball which is so crispy and perfect for a snack. There’re so many different flavors, like spicy 🌶️ flavor, mozzarella mushroom 🧀, squid ink 🦑 risotto, carbonara sauce with bacon 🥓 etc.. 2️⃣ Il Culinario (pic 10&11) Order their seafood pasta would be the best choice for a perfect dinner to end the day 🙏🏻 we ordered garlic clams spaghetti 🧄 and Cuttlefish ink pasta with red prawn tartare Mazara on top, both of them were so delicious!! 🤤 I just wish I had time to visit them again. The waiters were so friendly, they even gave us free lemoncello 🍋 And of course, the desserts (tiramisu and Cannolo Siciliano di Piana) were also amazing!! 🔖 Day 2 ~ 4: visit different cities near Palermo Trip Moments in progress ✨✨

Prices are very reasonable for such a location, with main dishes ranging from €12 to €20 and seafood platters for sharing at around €30. It felt spontaneous and cinematic, as if we had walked into the middle of a dream sequence. People stopped to listen, children danced, and the moment felt perfectly Sicilian. 🍕 Where to Eat Near the Port If you get hungry, you’re in luck—there are several great places to eat within walking distance from the waterfront. A few we noticed (and recommend checking out): • Ristorante Gagini – A stylish option that mixes Sicilian tradition with modern flair. Perfect for a romantic dinner. • Trattoria del Pesce Fresco – Casual and family-friendly, known for its daily fresh catch and classic seafood pasta. • Calamida – A cozy spot with outdoor seating and some of the best arancini we tasted in Palermo. Cefalu is located at north-east of Sicily. It’s a beautiful seaside town to visit. Lovely food and lots of museums to visit. Arancina is one of the food I like so much! If you like outdoor activities, there are lots of places to go. For example, there’s a hiking trail just 10 minutes away from town centre. There’s a castle on the top go the hill, it’s a historical place you can visit and the view is really nice!
