#parksandgardens #100waysoftravel It was a nice sunny day at Yokohama, and I can't bear to let this nice weather off without going outside for some nice breeze, so I walked out of my hotel and take a stroll around the coastline of Yokohama Pier. There I reached this nice little seaside park called Zou no Hana Park, which means the Elephant Trunk Park. It spans approximately 3.3 hectares including the breakwater stretching. You can enjoy the nice sea breeze at the park, while having your lunch from the lunch box, and there is also a gallery for exhibition and also a coffee stand. This is a nice place for chilling especially for those working around that area.

This is "Zou-no-hana Park" which connects Red Brick Park and Yamashita Park. It was named after the shape of the breakwater when viewed from above from the Osanbashi International Passenger Terminal, which looks like an "elephant's trunk". Yokohama is a historic city. There are many information boards and historical explanations around Zou-no-hana Park. The port of Yokohama began with "Zou-no-hana". It's also fun to stroll around the area! This park, located relatively close to the Red Brick Warehouse, not only has a large field and plaza, but also has artworks like dominoes and a cafe where you can relax! And the view of the ocean is amazing! #thingstodo This is a relatively new, tiny urban park (more like a rest area) on the site of a former building. It's nice that this was turned into free space rather than just another small residence or shop. There are a few benches, an informational signboard, and a reasonable view to the Minato Mirai area. This park should not be confused with large Zounohana Park across the water, which is further away from the original Zo-No-Hana breakwater than this one is. It might be easier to think of this park as Zo-No-Hana Breakwater Park.

#JapanTravel 🌊 Let me introduce you to Jonohana Park, a spacious beach park located on the beach of Yokohama! 💙 It's beautiful during the day, but it's especially famous for its night view. The sky-blue elephant statues scattered all over the place were cute. It's also famous as a music video filming location, so the vast ocean view and Yokohama's city skyline are very impressive! There are places selling ice cream and snacks here and there, so I hope you take a leisurely walk while eating delicious snacks! Located a short distance from the Red Brick Warehouse, Zo-no-hana Park has beautiful trees and flowers at its entrance that make you feel the arrival of spring.
