ZooParc de Beauval in Saint-Aignan, France
ZooParc de Beauval is located in the city of Saint-Aignan, France, and is one of the most popular wildlife parks in France and even Europe.
Address: Route du Blanc, Saint-Aignan, France
Opening hours: 9:00-19:00
Main species:
ZooParc de Beauval hosts a wide variety of animal species. According to reports, more than 800 species and over 30,000 animals from around the world live here, from the world's smallest Cuban hummingbird to large wild African elephants, from endangered rare animals like manatees to adorable Australian koalas, and China's national treasure, the giant panda... It can be said that all kinds of rare birds and exotic beasts are present. Visitors here not only observe animals but also return to nature with animals from around the world, experiencing the beauty of the wild and the joy of returning to simplicity. Each animal in the park has its unique living environment. A typical example is the South American aviary, which is filled with the charm of the South American tropical rainforest, from a variety of tropical plants to the humid and hot climate, making it feel like being in the Amazon rainforest. Various birds flying in the air and perching in the canopy are as free as they are in their South American homeland. The visitor walkways are also unusual, with wooden suspension bridges about 10 meters above the ground, allowing visitors to shuttle between jungle-style stilt houses, observing birds without disturbing other animals like anteaters on the ground.
In the African savannah area and hippo swamp area, African elephants, hippos, and other African animals make visitors feel like they are on the Serengeti plains. In the "China Heights" area, animals from China such as giant pandas, snow leopards, and takins await visitors. The panda house, with its distinct Chinese characteristics, best reflects the zoo's attention to detail and sincerity. To match the living environment of giant pandas in Sichuan and alleviate their homesickness, the zoo even replicated the shape of Sichuan's rocks in the outdoor activity space for the pandas. The construction of the panda house is also full of Chinese style, and the zoo has specially marked the location of the pandas' hometown, Sichuan, on a large map of China.

Just had the most incredible day at ZooParc de Beauval! 🐾🌿 Located in the picturesque Loire Valley in France, this zoo is an absolute must-visit. 🇫🇷 The entrance fee was around €30, which might seem a bit steep, but trust me, it's worth every penny for the unforgettable experience. 🎟️💶
This zoo is massive, with a huge variety of animals from all over the world. 🌍🦒🐅 From majestic lions and playful pandas to graceful giraffes and adorable red pandas, there's something for everyone to enjoy. 🐼🦁 And the habitats are so well-designed, it feels like you're stepping into different parts of the world with each exhibit. 🏞️🐾
One of the highlights for me was the giant panda enclosure – watching these incredible creatures munching on bamboo was a real treat! 🐼🎋 And the zoo's commitment to conservation and education is truly inspiring. 🌍📚
Beauval itself is a charming town with plenty of other attractions to explore. After the zoo, I recommend checking out nearby spots like the Château de Chambord or taking a stroll along the banks of the Loire River. 🏰🚶♂️ #ZooParcdeBeauval #WildAdventure #FrenchEscape
