In one day, I marveled at the Toledo Cathedral, one of the finest Gothic structures in Europe, lit candles in the quiet serenity of Santa María la Blanca synagogue, and admired the Arabic artistry of the Cristo de la Luz mosque. The city is built like a labyrinth—narrow lanes, secret courtyards, and buildings from every era stacked atop one another. I recommend getting a little lost here; it’s part of the magic. #2025OverseasTravelEvent Toledo, a suburban city that can be reached in about an hour from Madrid. The old capital of Spain that still retains its medieval feel! It was the best suburban city during my trip to Madrid.🧡 🚆How to get there Take the subway from Madrid Sol Station to Atocha Station -> Go down to Renfe and you can reserve Renfe tickets at the machine or information center (It might be easier to buy a round-trip ticket by roughly estimating the return time.) -> Take Renfe and arrive in about 30 minutes. (Because the line is long, reserve in advance on the Renfe website) . . 📍Toledo Travel Plaza Zocodover - Toledo Viewpoint - Mirador Viewpoint - Alcantara Bridge - Toledo Cathedral - Parador Hotel Outdoor Terrace (Lee Bo-young and Ji Sung's wedding photo shoot location) This is a restaurant and pub, so you can eat something simple.😊 Toledo is such a pretty city that I definitely recommend it! Plaza de Zocodover is the main square of the city of Toledo. It is the meeting point for travellers and locals located at Pl. Zocodover, s/n 45001 Toledo. The square currently houses the tourist information centre and different tourist companies, you will find them with colored umbrellas, for all types of tours. On the sides of the square are various cafes, restaurants and souvenirs shops. Not only the tourist buses meet here, solo travelers can also take the local bus from the coach station or train station to here, as a starting point for you to access the main monuments of the city.
