If you travel to Yichun, Jiangxi province, the Mingyue mountain is a must. The top accessable by a cable car and there's a nice walk through the forest or a bus ride. On the top they offer skiing and a train ride. You can go to the train with a small bus or walk. On the way to the train there are some food options, they're pretty good. Wentang is a small town close to Yichun and it is famous for hot springs. You can get there by public bus, which takes 45 minutes or a taxi which takes 30 minutes. And Yichun is accessable by fast train. The town has beautiful, ancient architecture, with many non expensive, very good restaurants. It's also a good place to buy chrysanthemum tea. There are many hot spring options, around the town and everything is walking distance. At night the town is ful of lights and steam. The cable car fare is 80 RMB from Lower to Upper Station, but 70 RMB just from Mid to Upper Station‼️ This pricing makes no sense‼️ ⚠️ Management needs improvement. The Yichun Wentang Ancient Well was dug by Zen Master Dingyun in the Jichou year of Shaoding (1229) in the Southern Song Dynasty. It has a history of nearly 800 years and is known as the "Millennium Zen Hot Spring". The ancient well is located on South Street in Wentang Town and was originally located in front of the Dingguangyuan Zen temple. You could get water from it before, but now you can only watch it. Wen Tang Hot Spring is a rare "high-selenium and low-sulfur" freshwater hot spring in the world.
