Zhongshan park, Sz ❤️
Considered the oldest park in the whole Shenzhen, Zhongshan park is screaming beauty, serenity, and history...
It is founded and built in the year 1925. Zhongshan or commonly known as Sun Yat Sen is a well known figure in China. And a lot of parks around the country named after him, this one included. This park has a big tribute to the man, as it has the biggest head figure of Zhongshan in China.
The 30,000 square meters artificial (man-made) lake is the focal point of the park. A large green area for picnics or for relaxing kite-flying, statues and figures scattered all over the park. Colorful flowers and tall trees and luscious greens covers the entire park. A very charming place to unwind and relax.
Entrance fee is absolutely FREE!
Visit it. Dont forget your masks.

This beautiful small size bridge stands in the middle of an artificial lake (man~made) inside Zhongshan park in Nanshan district, Shenzhen.
Magestically surrounded by the water, cobblestone pavements on the walk~way, and those rustic chains makes it a perfect destination for photo op. Gloomy weather didn't stop me to visit the place and sat down beside the water. Relaxing ambiance. Fresh air. You can even hear the wind howling with the trees and plants covering the area.

Zhongshan Park
Zhongshan is a revered figure in Shenzhen, with almost every city in China having a park named after him, there are also many universities too including in Guangzhou. And in Taiwan the bank notes have his face on them.
Shenzhen is no different, it also has a Zhongshan park. Straddling nanshan and Bao’an districts this is a little tucked away and often overlooked by many people. It’s not the biggest, most colourful, or even most unique, but it is charming in it’s own way and worth checking out.
As is common with most Shenzhen parks, there is a water feature here, large green areas for picnics, relaxing or kite flying, and lots of rest areas.

Greenery Shenzhen Zhongshan Park
#grassland
Shenzhen Zhongshan Park is a pretty popular spot for relaxing, and one of its coolest features has to be the open grasslands. It's the perfect place to just chill out, especially on a nice sunny day. People come here to have picnics, dance, play games, or just sit down and watch the clouds drift by.
The wide green space feels like a break from the busy city life. Some folks also come to exercise or do yoga. It’s got this peaceful vibe, surrounded by trees, and there's usually a gentle breeze that makes everything feel extra refreshing. Whether you're looking to relax or just take a quiet walk, the grasslands at Zhongshan Park offer a little slice of calm in the middle of the city.

Not Shenzhen, you still have such a good place!
The 20-minute park rule is real, I love coming to these big green lawns.
I once lived in Nantou Ancient City for a few months, and this is my first time coming to the nearby Zhongshan Park. The Dutch Flower Town across the street is full of flower stalls, very cheap and fresh.
This time, my favorite place in all of Shenzhen is not Shekou, it's here!

Zhongshan Park - A serene spot in Nanshan District
Zhongshan Park in Shenzhen's Nanshan has a history of over ninety years. In 1925, Mr. Hu Yu, a Hong Kong gentleman who once served as the county magistrate of Bao'an, initiated the construction of the park to commemorate Dr. Sun Yat-sen. At that time, the park only covered an area of twenty acres and featured various wooden pavilions; it housed monkeys and birds, and was planted with camphor trees, autumn maples, chestnut trees, kapok, phoenix trees, and Araucaria trees for visitors to enjoy.
Today, it is adjacent to the ancient city of Nantou, with a vast area and lush greenery, making it a great place to enjoy flowers in spring.

Zhongshan Park in Guangdong | Unforgettable beautiful scenery in this life
🍀 The ginkgo turned yellow this year has been postponed again and again, and this week finally ushered in the beautiful moment of ginkgo yellow leaves.
😜Today's City Walk Zhongshan Park and the corner tower, come on, let's take a look👀
🍁❶The ginkgo in the park is only distributed in a few places. The Ginkgo Avenue in front of the Altar of Land and Grain is the most famous scene, but the ginkgo has not all turned yellow yet, the two ginkgo trees on the southernmost side of the avenue turned yellow first, many people will take close-ups here, you can take pictures of the light and shadow when the sun shines on the South Altar Gate and the two yellowest ginkgo trees.
🍃❷In addition to the front of the Altar of Land and Grain, another dense ginkgo is near the long corridor on the left side of the south gate. The ginkgo here is relatively scattered, suitable for taking some combination of ginkgo and architecture.
🌲❸Next to the water pavilion, there is a larger ginkgo tree, and there is a white jade stone bridge next to the tree.
🍀❹There is a single ginkgo on the south side of Today's Rain Pavilion, because there is not much interference around, it is easier to take close-ups of the foreground and background.
