The bridge is really long, and anyone who walks across it will definitely feel a thrill. The glass is very clear, but since it just rained, there were puddles that made it hard to take clear photos. However, our eyes could see everything clearly, and it was quite thrilling. Once you cross, there is another short glass balcony (be careful of slipping when it rains). You don't need to wear shoe covers. After passing through, you can play VR balloon, which is a lot of fun and in 3D. It's a must-try. There are also zip lines and boat rides, but we didn't try them. Just watching others was fun enough.

The day we went to Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge, it was raining since early morning. The fog started to fall, but the sky was clear enough for us to see the beauty of this bridge. If you're scared of heights, there is a walking platform area on each side of the bridge pathway. If you're brave enough, walk in the centre on the bridge on the glass and experience your insides turning into jelly. You have options of taking an elevator and slide down to the bottom of the mountain. Once you reach the bottom, I highly recommend you do the 5km valley walk. Best time for this is late afternoon. Less crowds and not as hot. At the end of the walk, you will experience a 500m boat ride to the exit.

This is a MUST if you are in Zhangjiajie. It’s just as breathtaking as the Avatar mountains. You will need a day for Tianmen mountain. It costs RMB275 for cable car and cable car down. We took the bus up to the first stop of the mountain then walked up to the Cave (mountain with the hole). Then walked up 1,000 steps. The view is amazing. From there we then took the world’s longest escalator to the top of the mountain. We then went from the West side (yellow route) and followed the mountain edge to the east side ;red route). #cityplaybook Day 1 : Tianmen Mountain Zhangjiajie In the moment, I arrived at Zhangjiajie. I can feel It's fresh air and saw Tianmen mountain landscape. When I took cable car to highest point of this mountain, I can see cliff mountain and Tianmen cave view more clearly. Cable car need to take 30 minutes to arrive to Tianmen mountain. I feel a bit scary because It take me so high above the ground. But, It worth It's breathtaking views with mountain and lake. 📍Address: Tianmen mountain National Forest, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie, China. Ticket Price: CNY 278 per person Day 2 - Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge is 40 minutes away from Tianmen Mountain by taxi. This glass bridge is not scary as picture. When I walked around in this bridge, I can feel It's solid glass quality. I can see all landscape below the bridge. Tips and flows: Tips: ensure phone ☎️has either Data roaming, as Esim was not workable, or a China Sim Card Activated (workable for limited apps such as e-hailing, e-payment etc.) Day 1: Midnight flight ✈️ and Fenghuang City - 8 AM Reached Changsha Huanghua Airport (check on which terminal) - After collecting 🧳luggages and passing the immigration procedures - We opt to take the Airport Bus 🚍@ Exit 5 to take the train later on to Zhangjiajie ❗️ Buy train tickets from Changsha train to Zhangjiajie West Train - 🚍 Bus/Van arrived at Changsha train station, you will always need to go through scanning of probhited items counter before entering, prepare passport for travellers to check ticket at a special lane. - 🚞 Train from Changsha to Zhangjiajie West train station is 2 hours plus. ❗️ Always check with accomodation owners/hosts before arrival to ensure smooth process - our stay was near the station, just around 12 mins walk, nearby the condo has convenience and food stores. - Going to Fenghuang City will need to go to the Zhangjiajie West train station again. ❗️ Buy tickets from Trip.com will be better as the train stations may indicate a different name for the final arrival point. - After reaching the Fenghuang City Train Station (1hr+) ❗️You would need a transit bus (either Line 1 or Line 2) but require some walking distance to reach that popular scenic night view that you always saw online - You've guessed it, return route is the same of where the bus drops off at the start.
