#lstaying at hotel is the best way to enjoy relaxing time. Speically after the Spring festival, getting bored with the hustle ad bustle in city, and wanting to experience a different life, so I booked Youzhou Yiyang Hotspring resort--a hotel in countryside. There is a huge park adjacent to Yiyang hot spring hotel, and the park includes a little zoo, and a lot of entertainment facilities. You can choose to take a walk or rent a bicycle to go sightseeing. However, the transportation is not so satisfying-it was hard to hail a taxi, while taking bus to get to downtown needs almost 40 minutes. #staycation

Stopped by this gem just joy riding in the Zhangjiagang. It was such a beautiful day and kids were in the water on these big floats, boat paddles were going, and people were enjoying themselves.

In Zhangjiagang, I accidentally met a small pink, pink grass that I had been thinking for so long. Finally, I found that the children in Zhangjiagang had not calmed down. It offers both modern comfort and historical charm. Our stay at the Zhangjiagang Marriott Hotel was fantastic. Known as the best Marriott in Southern Jiangsu, it boasts stunning city skyline views. The afternoon tea was a feast for the eyes and the palate, bursting with vibrant spring colors. 📍Zhangjiagang Marriott Hotel 🚘Location: No. 686 Renmin East Road, Yangshe Town, Zhangjiagang City, Suzhou. A 2-hour drive from Shanghai, conveniently located next to Wanda Plaza. ✅The hotel lobby is gorgeous. Don't miss the wine bottle Christmas tree—it's very photogenic. 🏨Our room was on the 37th floor, offering panoramic views of the city skyline from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The welcome amenities were plentiful, much to the delight of our little one. The co-branded gift bag with Lay's was also a nice touch, refreshing and energetic. ☕️We enjoyed afternoon tea in the lobby lounge. The presentation was like a breath of spring, lush and vibrant. 🥥The hotel's Cloud Dinner deserves special mention. It's incredibly popular and was fully booked on the day we went. We were treated to a stunning sunset view. It happened to be Thai-themed buffet night, with a personal coconut for each guest, creating a perfect holiday atmosphere. The durian desserts and coconut sago were simply divine. Each table also received a complimentary curry crab. Thai food lovers will be in heaven! 🏊The hotel has a 24-hour gym and a heated swimming pool. After indulging in the buffet, we enjoyed a guilt-free swim and workout. ✅Shazhou Youhuang Cultural Park A visit to Zhangjiagang isn't complete without exploring Shazhou Youhuang Cultural Park. It's a fantastic place for kids. The park encompasses a wide range of attractions, seamlessly blending modern architecture with Chinese aesthetics. The outdoor playground is a magnet for children, while the adjacent museum offers an artistic and interactive journey through the history of yellow rice wine, combining cultural education with multimedia technology. It's a truly enriching experience.

I spent the weekend at the Zhangjiagang Marriott, which is known as the best Marriott in southern Jiangsu and is even called "Little Ritz." The actual experience was pretty good, but calling it "Little Ritz" is a bit much. The Zhangjiagang Marriott has been open for five years, and I chose it as part of my search for unique and fun destinations in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. I think the hotel itself is quite good. Check-in was quick, and other requests were handled promptly, which is what you'd expect from a Marriott business hotel. I happened to arrive at the same time as a large group, so I checked in at the lounge. Although I hadn't contacted them in advance, the manager kindly upgraded me to a corner suite because it was my first stay. I have to say, the room was fantastic. It was spacious, with 270-degree views from a high floor, and a huge bathtub. The welcome fruit and personalized card were already prepared, which was a nice touch. The lounge wasn't crowded, and the food selection was quite diverse, among the best I've seen in Marriott lounges. However, the taste of the food was disappointing, even worse than the Four Points by Sheraton Suzhou. Even the French fries, which should be easy to get right, were soft and soggy, which is unacceptable. The hotel lobby displays several certificates, including one for the chef's membership in a culinary association, but the quality of the food didn't live up to the hype. The breakfast selection was extensive and delicious, definitely worth trying. However, we happened to be there with a large group, and there was a queue to get into the breakfast area. Once inside, there were also queues at many of the food stations. We couldn't get any freshly squeezed juice, and the service was chaotic. It seems the hotel overestimated its capacity. The other facilities are well-designed, and the gym and pool are large and beautiful. The pool changing room even has a small hot spring pool. Because the hotel is located in an office building, it doesn't have a children's play area or a garden. However, it's right above a Wanda Plaza, so there are plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby.

A high-speed rail station in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province. It has the typical layout of a high-speed rail station in a regional city in China. The ticket gates for boarding are on the first floor, and the exit ticket gates for disembarking are in the basement. There was a baggage inspection when entering the station, but no ID (or passport for foreigners) check. There is only a convenience store and souvenir shop inside the station, no restaurants. During the Qingming holiday, I took my kids to Zhangjiagang, and it was great! The attractions weren't crowded, the scenery was beautiful, and the food and accommodations were excellent! This reverse-tourism trip with kids was a success! I'm sharing my itinerary with everyone! - ✅Itinerary Day 1: Arrived in Zhangjiagang at noon and checked in to the Zhangjiagang Marriott Hotel. After checking in, we headed straight to Xiangshan Scenic Area. The tulips 🌷 in the scenic area were in full bloom, with various colors, very beautiful~🌸 Worth visiting! In the evening 🌆, we returned to the hotel 🏨 just in time for the buffet dinner on the 39th floor at 5:30 pm. The view from the top floor was beautiful, overlooking the night view of Zhangjiagang 🌃. The dishes were also exquisite, 🈶️ durian cake, fresh coconut 🥥, sea crab 🦀️... There was a lot of choice for the two kids. After dinner, we strolled around Wanda Plaza downstairs to digest. The details at Marriott are great! 4⃣️ If you are traveling with children, bring a stroller, as there is a lot of walking in Xiangshan. Dongdu Temple was built in 1994 with the approval of the Zhangjiagang Municipal People's Government. The temple looks very new and is well-constructed, but there are few tourists. Due to time constraints, I didn't visit the Jianzhen Eastward Journey Memorial Hall. The entrance fee is 10 yuan.
