In the evenings, there are plenty of night markets nearby. The hotel itself doesn't offer breakfast, but why bother with breakfast when you have plenty of options at the nearby shopping street on Jalan Wong Ah Fook, just across the street? The hotel room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was to our liking, leaning towards the softer side. We were fortunate to secure a corner room for our stay, and the view from it was magnificent. Cleanliness: - In terms cleanliness, the room isn’t really immaculate. Could see some dust settling on the poster frames. Ceiling fans are white with noticeably dust. But generally it’s quite dust free in any other areas in the room. - Carpetted floor are quite clean with no signs of stains. Amenities: - Both living room and bedroom were equipped with smart tv - plus point. So can access Netflix. - Room is very spacious. Suitable to bring guests for parties. - The view from the room at level 19 is unobstructed. So it’s quite scenic. - The tv was installed in the positioned right in front of the bed. - The shower area and bathtub are separated. - The bath tub is very clean and spacious. - Bath tub is super clean. However they need to improve on the visible moulds and the shower area. - Indoor Ventilation fan works well, so no unpleasant smell intruding the bedroom. - Beds and linens are comfortable. Additional pillows can be requested. - For a room that’s spacious, I would prefer a wardrobe that’s covered. Can fully utilise the space instead of an exposed one. Parking: - The Carpark is accessible by the car lift. So be careful when driving into the lift. However there’s a guard to help you manoeuvre & guide you to the vacant parking slot. - The carpark is quite secure as it’s only accessible by guests with access cards only. So you can be worry-free. Attractions: - Located just opposite Pasar Karat which is a weekend night market. Can be seen from the hotel room. - Walkable distance of approximately 8 mins to JB City Square. - Abundance of convenience mart nearby. Service: - For room service, they only replaced the towels and toiletries. First trip to JB with the fam & superb stay at Z hotel. Night market is literally across the street. Place is very clean & spacious. Asked for high floor & got the highest one which has great view from our room. Will definitely stay here again in the near future 👍

First time booking Z Hotel from the recommendation of our friends and we were quite impressed! Views were amazing and rooms were modern and clean. Walkable from City Square so you save on Grab fares. We were on the 17th floor and you can kind of hear the cars and motorcycles but honestly it wasn't that bad. TV could stream netflix and youtube too! Will definitely be booking this hotel again next time.

Booked the hotel for a weekend getaway to JB! Thought the hotel is pretty near to city square but we took roughly 10-15mins to walk to the hotel. Staff is quite friendly and room is spacious. But cleanliness can be improved as bed sheet and pillow case got some hole and stains. Air con is not as cold as we adjusted to the lowest temperature but it still feel like room temperature. #hotelreview

First time stay at Z Hotel and it is definitely one of my go-to hotel in JB now. Getting There - 10 mins walk from City Square. Easy to find. Right by the road. Parking is a bit hard but still manageable. Hotels - Don't be fooled by the hotel rates. It's definitely worth more than the price you're paying it's basically a steal! The view alone from the big bay window in the room is enough to justify the price. The room size is bigger than most. Even the bathroom has got a nice view! Cleanliness is good. Usual amenities provided like coffee/tea, mini fridge, safety box, iron/board, etc. The room also comes with a ceiling fan so if the aircon gets too cold you can use the fan instead. The only downside is the shower, water temperature is not hot just lukewarm at best. Food & Restaurants - Plenty! Eventhough the hotel doesn't have a kitchen/room service, everything is walking distance from the hotel. Just right outside the hotel there's a convenience store and street food vendors. Lots of mamak stalls around the area as well. Just across the road is Pasar Karat night market so food is everywhere.

Our anniversary stay at Z Hotel in the Deluxe King room on the 13th floor was truly enjoyable and memorable. From the moment we entered the room, we felt a cozy ambiance that set the perfect tone for our celebration. The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, giving off a fresh and modern feel. We appreciated the attention to detail in providing a comfortable and well-equipped space. The bed was cozy, and having four pillows enhanced our relaxation. The smart TV with netflix allowed us to watch the new extraction 2 movie at night although the audio sounded a bit off. The hotel's location was a significant advantage. It is right down the street from the border, estimated a 10 minute walk. We were even more surprised to find out it is conveniently situated just a street across from a massive pasar malam (night market from picutre 12 onwards) that came alive on the weekends. There was delicious street food, local culture, and even find some thrift items from coca cola and new brands. There was also a live band playing music on stage. Throughout our stay, the hotel staff exhibited a friendly and accommodating demeanor. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and we were granted a late check-out up for only 50MYR after 1pm, which allowed us to make the most of our time there. we normally stay at KSL hotel but this time we tried Z hotel. it was a 3min walk to cuty square mall, and 5mins walk to famous bakery hiap joo and a huge plethora of cafes to explore! the one shown in the picture is offee club, we also visited tom & Danny cafe and so on. Passing by this hotel when I am on the way to lunch. This is Z Hotel at 18, Jalan Wong Ah Fook, Bandar Johor Bahru, 80000 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia.
