Although the ascent to the summit takes only about 30 minutes, the steep incline will leave you breathless, with every step presenting a new challenge. This time in Yangshuo, I chose to stay at the Yangshuo Riverside Resort located within the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by its location—vehicles are prohibited in the area, and you need to switch to electric scooters to enter, giving off a "secret hideaway" vibe! The hotel thoughtfully provides shuttle services to the city center, allowing me to enjoy the tranquility while still having convenient access to shopping and exploring. Stepping into the room, my first thought was, "Wow, it's so spacious!" The room is clean and roomy, and the bathroom is so large you could spin around several times! My favorite part is the balcony, which features a huge sunbed. I lay down on it, gazing at the stunning Yangshuo landscape, and all my worries instantly melted away—I was in full vacation mode. What surprised me even more was the food at the hotel's restaurant—it was absolutely delicious, with no disappointments! If you're like me and dream of escaping the city's noise to find a quiet place to unwind, this is definitely the perfect choice for you. With crystal-clear rivers right in front of you and only the sounds of chirping birds and insects around, staying here truly lets you experience the serenity and beauty of Yangshuo.

#September2025 Driving through Yangshuo's Ten-Mile Art Gallery, my eyes are invariably drawn to the enormous butterfly sculpture perched on a rock face in the distance. It's the symbol of "Heavenly Sounds • Butterfly Spring." Entering the scenic area, I was first struck by the mystical wonders of the cave. Exploring deeper, I discovered a stalactite shaped like a butterfly, shimmering in the light and shadow. That's when I understood the origin of the attraction's name. In the park, the Miao and Dong ethnic groups performed passionate and unrestrained songs and dances, immersing me in the rich ethnic customs. I also excitedly crossed Yangshuo's only pristine suspension bridge. Standing high above, I could hear the melodious sound of mountain waterfalls and gaze upon the breathtaking rural scenery. From this prime viewing platform, I could take in the breathtaking views of Yangshuo's Shangri-La—the Yulong River and Yangjiao Mountain. However, this adventure did have its share of surprises. Despite the name "Butterfly Spring," I didn't find a single wild butterfly. This place is more about man-made structures and cultural influences than pure natural beauty. If, like me, you're here to explore the wonders of nature, you might feel a little disappointed. But if you're looking to immerse yourself in local culture and soak up the lively atmosphere, this place is definitely worth a visit!

#September2025 The Alila Yangshuo Sugar House, a hotel converted from an old sugar mill, exudes a luxurious feel. The beautiful building, designed by a talented artist, features a stunning light show at night, illuminating the hotel and the nearby karst mountains. The hotel's public facilities are a highlight, and the bar boasts a talented mixologist, making excellent cocktails. Spend some time relaxing in the library or spa for an extra touch of grandeur, or enjoy a hearty breakfast. Transportation is a bit inconvenient, but you can take the high-speed rail to Yangshuo Station and then take a taxi for around 100-150 RMB. The hotel also offers a paid shuttle, but it's more expensive, starting at 400 RMB. The rooms offer stunning views of the karst mountains and beautiful balconies. The spacious rooms and comfortable beds ensure a good night's sleep. Facilities include a gym and swimming pool. The outdoor pool offers stunning views, directly overlooking the mountains and water, reminiscent of a landscape painting. Unfortunately, the management team was changed later. Although the hardware facilities are still beautiful, the service quality has declined, which is a pity.

#9月好地方2025 Guilin's landscapes are the best in the world, and Yangshuo's are the best in Guilin! This statement is absolutely true. When visiting Yangshuo, of course, you need to find a great place to stay, and I chose the Yangshuo Green Lotus Riverview Hotel, not far from West Street, which was a perfect choice. The moment you step into the hotel, you can instantly feel the unique resort atmosphere. It's situated right on the Li River, and a few steps take you from the bustling pedestrian street to the tranquil and beautiful river views. The lobby's ceiling is particularly eye-catching, featuring a patchwork of Guilin landscape paintings. It not only exudes a Chinese style, but also perfectly captures the beauty of Guilin. I stayed in a 30-square-meter standard double room for around NT$2,000, which was an excellent value. While not the newest room, it was immaculately maintained and fully equipped. Best of all, the room had a small balcony. Opening the curtains, the entire Yangshuo landscape was breathtaking. It was a truly amazing experience! Although not brand new, this hotel is well-maintained and well-managed, with amenities like a swimming pool. You won't find anything unsatisfactory about staying here, and it's no wonder some call it one of the best hotels in Yangshuo!

This Yunding Coffee was recommended by the B&B owner. With the purchase of a drink at the B&B, you can ascend the mountain to enjoy the stunning views. One drink cost only 29 yuan. I went at 9 a.m. on a Friday morning, and there was no one else. Though it might be a bit more crowded in the evening for sunset, compared to Xianggong Mountain, it's still quite a bit less crowded, making it a great spot for photo opportunities. There are three viewing platforms, but I was too lazy to climb, so I only climbed one. It was already quite beautiful. This one takes 3-5 minutes to reach. The highest one takes 15 minutes to climb. 🍃This time I stayed at Huimo Mountain Lodge in the Sanqianli Resort Area. The design is very unique, centered around a space capsule concept. Each room is independent and comes with a small courtyard, quiet and highly private. ⛰️Opening the curtains reveals a landscape painting right before your eyes—truly "a boat sailing on emerald waves, people traveling within a painting." The check-in area is a coffee shop ☕️ where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and take photos while waiting—very comfortable. The shop also offers many cute cultural and creative souvenirs. The hotel’s outdoor area, combined with the scenic spot, has some entertainment facilities. You can take a bamboo raft or ride an outdoor mini train. There are plenty of activities without even leaving the premises. The hotel is not far from Xingping Ancient Town and the Nine Horses Fresco Hill Pier, about a 10-minute drive 🚗.
