Mount Moli, commonly known as the Great Sharp Summit and also called Xu Mu Peak, is said to have been named after General Moli of the Sui Dynasty who lived here, and Wu Zixu, a senior official of the Wu state, once welcomed his mother here. Mount Moli has an elevation of 293 meters and is the crown of the seventy-two peaks of Dongshan. Mount Moli is the main peak of Dongshan, and it has been acclaimed as a Taihu Lake scenic spot since the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty. It takes about 45 minutes to climb to the summit from the foot of the mountain along the mountain path. At the highest point on the top, there is a huge rock where one can sit and enjoy the marvelous view. Mount Moli stands tall and lofty, higher than the other mountains. When you reach the summit, the branches of the mountain stretch out at your feet, and the peaks rise and fall. Below the peak is a mountain hollow, surrounded by famous hollows such as Fahai Hollow, Cuifeng Hollow, Chunyang Hollow, and Yuhua Hollow, all connected by mountain roads.

On Saturday morning, I decided to hike a mountain⛰️, arriving at Yuhua scenic spot at 7:30 AM. I parked the car 🚗 on the side of the road for free🆓. Along the way, the villagers grow their own white jade loquats, priced between 15 to 35 yuan depending on the size.

It's a good choice to sit leisurely in a tea house or join a study tour group. · In Yuhua Shengjing Scenic Area, you can fly kites, camp and picnic, go on a spring outing, or have a group gathering for team building, getting close to nature. · For those who have plenty of time and energy, you can also try cycling around Lake Tai or hiking up Mo Li Peak.
