★ Preview one-line review ★
Fairytale-like scenery, cute charm, and even food that fills your mouth with happiness!
Yufuin was enough to capture the hearts of novice travelers......★
1. Transportation: Sankyu Pass, what would I have done without you?! 🚌
For a timid traveler like me who went to Fukuoka for the first time abroad, the road to Yufuin was difficult.
I was so confused about what was different between trains and buses that I thought I would die. Then I found a ray of light! It was Sankyu Pass!
👉 Tip: A one-way bus from Fukuoka to Yufuin costs **3,000 yen to 4,500 yen (30,000 to 45,000 won)**,
but with Sankyu Pass, you can ride the bus as much as you want! What a deal! No need to change trains, just one bus, so I'm really thankful for a novice like me
I arrived at Yufuin after staring out the window on the bus! It was reorganized, saved money, and was awesome!
2. A fairy tale town scenery like an animation! 🏞️
As soon as I got off the bus, I couldn't help but exclaim 'Wow...' 😮 There were cute shops, and Mt. Yufudake and the sky in the distance were like a painting!
I walked from the main street to Kinrinko Lake, and although my feet hurt a little, my eyes were so happy that all my fatigue disappeared.. Kinrinko Lake really had a crazy atmosphere. They say that if you go early in the morning, there will be fog on the water, but I couldn't see it on a one-day trip, but it was still so pretty..ㅠ
3. Full of cute TV dogs. Mameshiba Cafe
由布院豆柴カフェ (Yufuin Mameshiba Cafe)
A comfortable dog feeling that makes life seem easy
Dogs who are annoying office workers. ㅋㅋㅋ But they were still cute.
4. Yufuin Food Tour: Walking and eating! 😋
Golden Croquette: The best street food in Yufuin! The freshly fried, hot croquettes were really super delicious. **About 200 yen (about 2,000 won) for one**
(Some street food places only accept cash, so prepare some cash)
B-Speak Roll Cake: I went early because I had to try this, but the line was long! I can see why the moist and soft roll cake is famous!
**About 500 yen (about 5,000 won) for one piece**, but it was so delicious that it melted in my mouth.
Larousse Cafe (#YufuinLarousse): It's right in front of Kinrinko Lake, and I really recommend this cafe among Yufuin cafes!
You can see the lake from the terrace, the air conditioning is strong, the bathroom is clean, and there are many charging outlets, so it's perfect for taking a break!
5. Ryokan Accommodation: Secret Base Tokinokakera, Lucky Exclusive! 🛀
One of the highlights of this trip to Yufuin was the Secret Base Tokinokakera Ryokan
It wasn't an incredibly luxurious place, but it was a great place to recommend!
I was the only one who had a reservation that day, so I monopolized everything! You can reserve the hot springs for the time you want, and I was able to use them all by myself.
The price of the hotel is about 1,600 to 2,500 yen (about 16,000 to 25,000 won). It's a great value hotel.
They also offer free pick-up from Yufuin Station, and you can refill ice cream and snacks as much as you want. They also offer free yukata rentals, which was really great.
Transportation The Sankyu Pass is a must-have for traveling to Yufuin! It's been reorganized and you can save money.
Scenery: Mt. Yufudake and Lake Kinrinko, just like in a fairy tale!
Gourmet: Croquettes, roll cakes, soba! It's fun to film food.
Shopping: Be careful with your wallet, because there are so many cute things to buy! The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, so it's perfect for healing.
Tip: If you're going on a day trip, use the coin lockers near Yufuin Station or in major stores.
