"From Lingnan gardens to Hui'an night scenes, this trip was full of unexpected surprises!
Our first stop was Yuehui Garden, which is said to be the largest garden in the Lingnan region. It was really impressive. The garden is so big that you can easily get lost! And it's very quiet, with hardly anyone around. The scenery throughout the garden is exquisite, and it feels like it must have been used for filming many movies and TV shows. There are many places that are particularly suitable for taking photos in Hanfu. The clothes are so elegant, and the photos look like they're from a blockbuster movie 📸. However, the weather was a bit disappointing. It suddenly got cold, and I was shivering. I didn't feel like stopping to take photos. I could only hurriedly walk around and leave.
Then we went to a nearby soup restaurant for lunch. The taste was actually quite ordinary, and there was nothing particularly impressive. It might be because we had just experienced a sudden drop in temperature, and our appetite was not that big. After lunch, we hurriedly set off for the next stop.
After lunch, we headed to Pinghai Ancient City. This place is actually an ancient village, but now it has been fenced off and turned into a scenic area. Although it's not big, there are many ancestral halls and historical sites, which are quite interesting. After learning about the background of this village, I realized that the people of Guangdong really value the continuation and inheritance of their ancestors. Taking photos in the winding alleys is very exciting. Although the place is not big, we stayed there for more than two hours, and it felt like we were traveling through history.
Then we hurried out of the ancient city and headed straight to Huizhou. When we arrived in Huizhou, we first went to the night market, but we were a little disappointed. It might be because we didn't find the right place, or because the things in the night market didn't impress us. After a simple local snack, we went back to the hotel to rest.
On the way back to the hotel, we made a special trip to see their Swan Bridge. Under the night lights, the Swan Bridge is really beautiful, giving a sense of tranquility and romance. This is really a good place for couples to check in, and the photos are amazing 📷.
After a night's rest, we went to the largest scenic area in Huizhou - West Lake. Don't be mistaken, this West Lake is not the famous West Lake in Hangzhou. The West Lake in Huizhou is also surprisingly large, and there are many scenic spots, such as Dongpo Academy, Sizhou Tower, Nine-Bend Bridge, and Yuanmiao Temple. Each place has a different history and story. After walking for a long time, my feet started to ache. It was really a walking mode, not suitable for people who don't like to walk for a long time. However, the scenic spots are still worth a visit, especially at night to see the lights. The night scene is really beautiful.
In general, although these few days were a bit tiring, I saw many different landscapes, and I felt that each place was quite unique. I recommend everyone to come here to play, but be sure to bring a good mood and be prepared to walk!
