When i went to 3D Luoyuan Village to check the painted houses, I was quite disappointed because they were not able to maintain the paintings beauty of the houses in the village. Maybe they should re paint it every year or 2 years. So, before you arrive at Minshengcun you pass by this village and you see colorful houses. You can go around for an hour or 2 taking pictures of the nice paintings and colorful houses. The environement is also very provincial. Fresh and cool air and you can hear birds singing. At Minshengcun, the place is full of Rape Seed Flowers and it gives tourists different locations or areas where you can get juce pictures of the surroundings and also the whole area itself. Songxi Ancient Village is located in Pujiang County, Zhejiang Province. The ancestors of the villagers migrated here during the Song Dynasty. Today, 18 families live here. The bridge pavilion over the stream at the village entrance is unique, with two archways on the left and right, one round and one square, each with a profound meaning. The square door symbolizes "going out to all directions, being upright," while the round door symbolizes "people who go out to work and come back to reunite with their families," and the villagers' harmonious and peaceful coexistence. Xinguang Village is a traditional Chinese village located in Yuzhai Township, Pujiang County, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the mountains of the Jinhua Mountain Range and covers an area of 5 square kilometers. Xinguang Village is centered around a four-entry hall, with a central octagonal shape that expands outward. There are six wing rooms on the east and west sides, with a total of 78 rooms. The village is crisscrossed by two horizontal and two vertical streets, forming a large grid pattern. The village is surrounded by the Qianxi River, and at the entrance of the village is Jinyu Mountain, which resembles a goldfish swimming in the river. The head of the goldfish is at Leigongkan, where the water is about two meters deep and the fish are about two feet long. Within the village, there are still some ancient temples, such as the Xianyin Temple, the Hugu Temple, and the Guanguan Temple. Xinguang Village is home to the 29 Jianli Youth Innovation Base. In October 2015, Yuzhai Township introduced the Pujiang Youth Maker Alliance to jointly create the Xinguang Village 29 Jianli Tourism Youth Innovation Base and the Shuangjingfang Cultural and Creative Park. Guanyan Mountain Scenic Area is located in Guanyan Village, Pujiang County, Zhejiang Province. If you are driving, you can navigate to Guanyan Temple. Navigating directly to Guanyan Mountain Scenic Area is not accurate, as there is no parking lot or signs to go up the mountain. Guanyan Temple has a parking lot, and there is a small road next to it that leads to the top of Guanyan Mountain. Since this attraction has not been developed, the path up the mountain is basically a mountain road. Guanyan Mountain is not high, and after walking two or three hundred meters, you will reach the mountainside. Then there is a very difficult section, with no road at all. It is a rock with a slope of about 60 degrees, very steep and with no protective measures. You can only climb up with both hands and feet. If you stop and look down, your legs will go weak and your adrenaline will soar. I met several tourists sitting on the ground, afraid to climb up any further. After this steep slope, you will soon reach the top of the mountain. The grass on the top of the mountain is very photogenic, with a bit of a Wugong Mountain feel. Guanyan Mountain is a huge long rock, surrounded by cliffs with no guardrails. There is a mountain road in the middle that tourists have walked out. The widest part of the top of the mountain is 20 or 30 meters, and the narrowest part is only two or three meters. Walking along the ridge, you will keep your eyes on your feet and not dare to look to the side. Although Guanyan Mountain is not high, it is surrounded by cliffs, and walking on it will definitely make your heart beat faster. The whole journey up and down the mountain takes about 1.5 hours.

I thought the countryside around Tongji Lake was rather deserted. Because it was raining, I originally planned to drive around Tongji Lake. I accidentally found this cafe, which was top-notch and a great place to view the scenery. The boss and his wife are very warm and friendly. The tea and simple meals are delicious 😋 (only ¥200/4 people in total). The boss even lit a stove for us. Longtan Ancient Temple: First built in the Southern Tang Dynasty of the Five Dynasties (940-952), it is located in a lush jungle. On the way to the temple, you need to go through a winding hillside. The road from the parking lot at the foot of the mountain to the temple entrance is about three or four hundred meters, and it is relatively easy to walk. The temple houses a large collection of ancient buildings and antiques. Each old component was carefully collected by monks and has been meticulously restored and displayed, allowing people to feel the weight of history. ​ ​

The ancient village is rich in culture and history. In terms of food, the suofen noodle-making process is at least hundreds of years old and was once a traditional specialty of the people on both sides of the Qianxi River. There are not many restaurants still open today, and you can scan the code to shop at the gift shop. Fortunately, you can still enjoy a bowl of the famous suofen noodles (only ¥15 per bowl); it is a bit like rice noodles with vegetables, pickles, and shredded meat, and it is quite delicious 😋 There is also huogao: a seasonal snack that is sliced and crispy. Songxi Ancient Village is located in Baima Town, Pujiang County. It is an ancient village with a history of over 800 years, known for its rich history and culture, unique architectural style, and unique geographical location and natural environment. Two streams (Mingxi and Anxi) flow through the village and finally converge into one stream at the bridge pavilion in the south of the village. Most of the buildings in the ancient village were built in the Ming and Qing dynasties, and 1,560 ancient buildings have been preserved, making it one of the best-preserved and largest ancient villages in central Zhejiang. These buildings are mainly made of stone, arranged in a staggered manner, and full of simple charm.

Songxi is an upstream section of the Puyang River, and the ancient village is named after the stream that flows through it. There are two streams beside the village, one is the Mingxi Stream (Front Stream) and the other is the Anxi Stream (Back Stream). The Mingxi Stream (Front Stream) is visible on the ground, with clear water and many small fish. There are shops, tea houses, and residences on both sides, and the environment is quiet.
