🔎 The predecessor of Oil Cool Art Park was the Asiatic Kerosene Warehouse built in 1930. After the renovation, industrial relics such as oil tanks, steel frames, and valves were retained, and contemporary art elements were integrated.
📸 The rusty oil tanks, giant valves, and Baisha Lighthouse make you feel like you are in an abandoned factory. Just take a picture and you will create a wasteland-style movie!

📍Special check-in spots
1️⃣ Oil tank ruins area🛢
The rust-red oil tanks, with the Sinopec logo engraved on them, retain the original industrial traces, and the dark-style outfit instantly creates a decadent feel.
From 4 to 6 pm, the setting sun casts a golden edge on the oil tanks, and with the big words "Oil Cool Art Park" on the ground, it is very spectacular to take photos.
2️⃣ Baisha Lighthouse💡
The small white building with ins style has yellow windows that stand out. When I went there, there was an old man singing at the bottom of the tower, which was full of life.
Climbing up to the second floor of the lighthouse, you can overlook the oil tanks. On the other side, you can also see abandoned ships and Dinghai Bridge by the canal. After crossing the bridge is the quiet secret land of Fuxing Island.
3️⃣ Retro valve mechanism ⚙️
Giant metal valves and mottled pipes are intertwined, giving it a full industrial hardcore vibe. Wide-angle shots are recommended to show the tension of the space. There is also a round white sand beach next to the rest area for children to play.
4️⃣ Riverside cycling trail 🚲
The park is connected to the Yangpu Riverside Greenway. On a sunny day, you can ride a bicycle through the industrial relics and the river breeze to experience the transformation of the "Rust Belt to Show Belt".

🚶♀️Nearby walking recommendations:
1️⃣ Shanghai International Fashion Center: A fashion landmark transformed from an old textile factory. There are outlets and popular restaurants hidden in the red brick factory building. You can sit down and take a rest.
2️⃣ Fuxing Island Park: It is said to be the last secret place in Shanghai. You can take photos of the sunset at Dinghai Road Bridge, and there are Bailu historical buildings and Gongqing Road retro streets, which give it a sense of seclusion.
3️⃣ Yangshupu Power Plant Ruins Park: The century-old power plant chimney and the zero-carbon cafe "One Foot Between", full marks for environmental protection concept.
