Yingze Park - Take a break from your busy life and enjoy the spring scenery in your heart
Dear family, good morning. Today, Wang Taiwei will share with you a must-visit place in Taiyuan: Yingze Park
Yingze Park is divided into three major natural areas: north, middle and south. A bluestone seven-hole bridge divides the Yingze Lake into north and south parts. The park landscape is dominated by plant landscaping, combined with traditional landscape garden patterns, using classical elements and traditional gardening techniques, taking into account landscape style, traditional culture and citizens' needs for visiting the park, forming a vivid and memorable urban park. The park has more than 420,000 garden plants of more than 180 varieties, along with lakes, hills, dense forests, rockery, fountains, etc. There are also more than 12 garden buildings including bridges, corridors, pavilions, terraces, and antique architectural complexes, forming a garden landscape of Tibetan scriptures reflecting the snow, Yingze refreshing fragrance, long corridor with mist and clear sky, Nanhu intoxicated by spring, and frosted leaves and autumn fruits.
The main attraction of the park, the Sutra Library, is located in the middle of Yingze Park. The library was built in the 25th year of the Jin Dynasty (1185 AD) and has a history of more than 800 years. It is the center of celebrations, gatherings and various cultural activities in the park.
The former Taiyuan Shanxi Merchants Museum in the eastern area of Yingze Park was completed and opened in 2010, covering a total area of about 12 acres. The park's ancient architectural masterpieces, such as the Moon-Watching Pavilion, Guanlan Pavilion, Wangyuan Pavilion, Planetarium, and Stage, are Ming and Qing style garden buildings and courtyards that showcase strong Ming and Qing style characteristics. The design of the ancient building is based on Shanxi folk ancient buildings and has a strong local style. The layout focuses on echoing, with lake and mountain views, plant barriers, and staggered heights and clear layers. The antique buildings and plant landscapes complement each other, making the park's traditional classical garden style more prominent. Visitors can stroll through the garden, enjoy the flowing water under the small bridge and the deep courtyard, or climb up to enjoy the view of the whole garden.
Steal a half day of leisure from busy life, and the spring scenery of the garden is in your heart.
If we are destined to meet again, the scenery will be even sweeter with the breeze.
Well, today's Yingze Park ends here, see you in the next article
