Finally, taking advantage of a rain-free weekend, I went to the Art Warehouse Museum to see 'David Hockney: Strolling Through Paper,' a highly artistic exhibition that reviews David Hockney's paper-based art creations!

Shanghai • Yicang Art Museum 'Rekindle' Art Exhibition
🌟 Yicang Art Museum is located on Binjiang Avenue in Pudong, where different exhibitions are regularly held. There is also a popular spiral staircase for taking photos 📷 The museum is right next to the East Bank Greenway and Yicang Waterfront. On sunny days, you can visit the exhibition and also cycle on the greenway 🚴🏻 Then, enjoy afternoon tea at one of the many cafes along the riverbank ☕️ A comfortable weekend afternoon time ✅
📍 The 'Rekindle' art experience on display this time, in my understanding, is built upon the 'Melting Pot', igniting a series of artworks with a real-life background through the burning and interaction of multiple elements. 😯 At first glance, it might be a bit confusing, but it actually brings different feelings and thoughts to people 📝
1️⃣ Melting Pot: Yicang Art Museum is transformed from a coal storage structure, and the exhibition retains the shape of the 'coal hopper' inside the museum. It also uses a large amount of transparent glass material to clearly display the appearance of the furnace, with the artworks displayed above the coal furnace 🔥
2️⃣ Multiple Elements: The exhibition's artworks combine art, fashion, and pan-entertainment, with works from various fields that can all generate art 🤔
3️⃣ Life Background: The works are based on the innovation and sublimation of daily life, very close to life, and easily resonate with the audience 🙋
🥸 I went there when it was almost closing, looking forward to visiting again when new exhibitions arrive~

MENMHIS AGAIN
What did you see? I saw freedom.
Just as the exhibition introduction states, Memphis is not a style, but an attitude.
The first time I heard the name Memphis, what came to mind was the lost ancient city in Egypt, but it is also the 'Memphis Group' formed in 1981 by designers led by Ettore Sottsass in Milan, Italy. The designers of Memphis actively sought inspiration from pop art, oriental art, and the traditional arts of Africa and Latin America, striving to imbue their design works with vitality.
During the weekend, at the Warehouse Art Museum, to the upbeat rhythm of rock music, I stepped into the whimsical world of Memphis design. If the commonly seen materials made into geometric shapes are the main body of the design, the irregular lines are the skeleton, and the bright and humorous colors are the skin, then the Memphis designers have injected a vivid, fresh, and free soul into these designs.
And Memphis design is far more than just a piece of furniture, tableware, or decoration. When I look at them, I marvel at their wonderful construction, ponder their design philosophy, and more often than not, what I see is not a piece of furniture or an ornament, but the joy they bring. Look, I have already been touched by Memphis design.

The star-studded ongoing art exhibition in Magic City!!
I saw a meaningful exhibition at the Art Warehouse Museum, the ongoing art exhibition 'Emotional Old Clothes'. The entire exhibition revolves around the theme of narrating the new with the old, starting a new journey with old items, awakening the wonderful chapters that sleep in the wardrobe.
Here, hundreds of old clothes are displayed, including personal old clothes and classic fashion collections of stars like Li Yuchun and Zhou Xun. Creative workers upgrade and remake the daily clothes. Through such a way, they continue the feelings and vitality of old things, hoping everyone can join in sustainable development~

Shanghai | Yoshitaka Amano's solo exhibition is on again, this time it's a bit different
| Yoshitaka Amano's solo exhibition is on again, this time it's a bit different.
💫Do you still remember the art exhibition "Daytime Fantasy" by Yoshitaka Amano in 2019 at the Art Warehouse? The rich exhibits and art forms were eye-opening.
In 2023, we welcome the artist's solo exhibition "Dreamer".
Like me, everyone probably wants to know what's different between the two exhibitions?
-
💫"Daytime Fantasy" is a comprehensive review of the artist's creative journey, exhibiting original paintings, film works, etc., many of which are well-known to everyone.
The highlight of "Dreamer" is the new series baby' ZOO created in 2022.
-
🔜The past three years have been a bit special for everyone, and artists are no exception. This new series is a testament to that.
baby' ZOO is a dream world of babies, colorful and full of childlike fun, giving people a relaxed and warm feeling~
-
⭐️In recent years, Yoshitaka Amano often goes to the zoo to sketch and take photos. In this series, there are giraffes, crocodiles, elephants, etc. For the Shanghai solo exhibition, a 🐼 panda was specially created! Small animals and babies adventure together in this world, and new characters are constantly born in the process, creating a fantasy universe.
-
🔍In addition, there are several other exhibition halls, including PANSA special exhibition prints, Parallera original paintings, and a special display by artist SUSPENSEGIRL Yoshitaka Feina.
There is a limited-time store selling some prints and derivatives~

Free exhibition in Magic City, Yicang Plush Art Christmas Limited Event
Life is a journey, and we are all passers-by in life! Although time is rushing, we all need to carry on with burdens!
Yicang Art Museum has two exhibitions going on at the same time. In addition to the 'Burning' on the third floor, there is also a free plush art Christmas limited event on the first floor, which lasts from 12/5 to 12/30. The exhibition hall displays a lot of cute plush toys, and there is a giant Christmas tree full of plush dolls. You can also take pictures of the outdoor gorilla installation when you go out of the door on the first floor. Don't forget to take a tour on the first floor when you go to the exhibition recently. The plush Christmas tree has a Christmas atmosphere and is very photogenic.

The 'Rekindle' Art Season grandly opens! No burning, no art
Exhibition Name: 'Rekindle' - Contemporary Trend Art Experience Field

Location: Shanghai Art Warehouse Museum 3F
Ticket price is 35 yuan, no reservation required
Rekindle is not just an exhibition, but also an art experience field that explores the boundaries of trends and art, sparks creative sparks, and crosses boundaries infinitely. In addition to art exhibits, the second floor of the exhibition also incorporates explosive music from musicians, providing everyone with an immersive exhibition experience.
The works of well-known contemporary Chinese artists on the third floor are also very watchable. The museum's spiral staircase and outdoors are arranged with many art installations for clocking in and taking pictures. After watching, you can walk along the outdoor riverside, or find a chair to sit outside and bask in the sun. It's very comfortable, recommended.

Even the locals rarely know that there is such a fairy place in Shanghai that can be framed with the magical three artifacts. The picture is super clean. Only you and three tall buildings are really amazing! A lot of friends asked me where I want to have the same paragraph
In fact, this basic can not be considered as a building, that is, a platform to go up and sit on the fence, using the visual difference of height difference, only revealing Shanghai Jinmao Tower And the World Financial Center, the small view looks very awkward
fence is very narrow, about 20-30cm, completely afraid to stand up, sit up is already the limit, timid standing below Not bad.
It is best to go sunny, the film looks more beautiful. When I went, it was a big cloudy day, the whole color was very light...
Its also nice to take a z-shaped folding staircase far away, so I dont have to stare at a high position. But the pictures on the platform are more general, and the short buildings look broken.
Next to the Yizang Art Museum (without going to the art gallery!), the Z-shaped staircase goes up. Figure 4-5 is the stairs that go up.

[Yekang Art Museum - Final Fantasy]
As a Trip traveler, the Art Gallery, which was officially opened at the end of 16th, will definitely not be missed. Originally the site of the Shanghai Coal Terminal, it was designed by experts to be quite modern, revealing a low-key artistic sense. At that time, the exhibition of British ghost designer paul smith suddenly entered the ranks of the Net Red Art Museum. Gray concrete walls, bare steel bars, large floor-to-ceiling windows, full of INS.
The recent exhibition is the father of "Final Fantasy", Amano Hiroshi. It is not necessarily familiar to many people, but when it comes to Final Fantasy, I think there are few fans who dont know, and these precious ones Manuscripts and records have recently arrived in the art warehouse. From the fantasy of blue light and mirror to the vampire hunter, the overall style is gorgeous and dark, especially the candy girl and shanghai girl, breaking through the past style has become bright and cute. The second floor found the final fantasy game experience area and some wrap-around theatrical version, interactive experience the fantasy world.
Portrait Photo Location:
1. Don't worry about going to the second floor exhibition hall. The gray rotating staircase is a hidden open place, whether it is horizontal or vertical, facing down or up. They are all very filmy, and it feels like a casual look.
2. After the exhibition, there is a gray wall through the souvenir shop, filled with a variety of black fonts "goodbye", here is also very good shot
3. Turning down the exit corridor is a long Gallery, one side is black wall, the middle is white steel column, very deep sense
4. The glass curtain wall outside the ticket on the first floor, but the disadvantage is that when there are many people, the mirror will reflect
Price: 90 yuan for a single person, 160 yuan for a single person, 110 yuan for a single pass, 200 yuan for a double pass
Address: 4777 Binjiang Avenue, Pudong New Area (near Pu Road, Pudong Road)
Transport: Metro No.4 Line Tangqiao Station recently, but there is still 1.4 kilometers after the exit, it is recommended to share the bicycle or taxi starting price
parking: the opposite of the HNA Building underground parking lot is the most parking space, the nearest is the underground parking lot behind the art warehouse

Shanghai is really getting more and more international.
We went to the Yicang Art Museum in Pudong for a weekend, and took a red dot. Unexpectedly, the film has become an art block, in addition to art galleries, weekends, art fairs, and art performances. There are several unique coffee shops connected, and the weekends are full. In addition, this film is located in the old Baidu Riverside green space, next to the Huangpu River, the natural environment is quite good. Inadvertently there is the illusion of being abroad. Shanghai is really more and more international.
said back to the art warehouse, the original white ferry bin, was almost demolished. After the robbery, the rest of the life was transformed into an art museum. The nature is industrial.
Recently, the art store held a solo exhibition of Amano Hiroshi, who had never heard of this person before telling the truth. It turns out that the Final Fantasy series is his work. Well, there are still a lot of people to visit, and the tickets are not cheap. It seems that my old man is ignorant.

The devils are all playing cards - Yicang Art Museum
Shanghai business trip last week, encountering fine weather is like a gift from heaven, can not live up to ~
local secretly take us to the art warehouse to punch cards, in fact, the devil The streets of the city are all nice. It is more beautiful on the sunny waterfront. The
Yikang Art Museum's reinforced concrete structure has a cool texture. Many floor-to-ceiling glass designs soften the building and enrich the fun of the photo.
The best shooting time is from afternoon to sunset. The riverbank and the sunset glow together in the glass, imaginably beautiful. Unfortunately, I am passing in a hurry, can't wait for the best moment, leaving you to go to the card~
Because the building is cool gray, it is recommended to take a photo with a bright dress.
