#Travel itinerary I took some pretty pictures while visiting Sokcho, Gangwon-do in the summer. #Dating Spot A peaceful and relaxing seaside pavilion, located on a rocky shore, offers a panoramic view of the sea. The sea breeze and the sound of waves hitting the rocks add to the relaxing feeling. It is a great place to take a walk or just relax. It is also a popular spot to watch the sunrise and the night sky as the colors change and the sunlight reflects off the water. There is a walking path where you can take a walk and take pictures. There are also restaurants and cafes nearby where you can stop by to try fresh seafood, making it a great place to spend the day. Yeonggeumjeong is located at the beach under Sokcho Lighthouse in Dongmyeong-dong, Sokcho City, where large and wide rocks are spread out! 📍 43 Yeonggeumjeong-ro, Sokcho-si, Gangwon-do 📍 033-639-2690 🌊 When the waves hit the rocks, it creates a mysterious sound that resembles the sound of a 'geomungo' (a traditional Korean string instrument), which is why it is called Yeonggeumjeong. 🌊 There are two pavilions, and I recommend visiting both. The view from the pavilion located higher up is especially stunning! 🌊 Known for its sunrise and night views, the sunset was also incredibly beautiful. The sight of the waves crashing against the rocks was truly mesmerizing. 🌊 Below Yeonggeumjeong, there is the Dongmyeong-dong Fish Market, so you can also have dinner there. Visiting in the evening is a great idea!

#koreatrip Definitely one of the best choices to see the sunrise! The view is breathtaking. I recommend whomever is planning to visit Sokcho, add "Sunrise in Yeong-Geumjeong" in your schedule. This is one of my favorite places in sokcho so far. Beautiful panoramic views of the sea beach and the place has an aesthetic touch to it. Very calm and full of solitude vibes. If you want to spend some lonely time or if you want to come with your lover, in both ways you will be satisfied! No entrance fee.
