Yat Ka Yan dessert place transport you back to an old school hong kong style vibe, with a mahjong theme. It may look run down but that's the whole purpose of it. This dessert place serves both modern and traditional Chinese desserts and be it a normal weekday, it's always packed with hungry dessert goers. Why? Because Yat Ka Yan is famous for their desserts and they are so so good! What most would order would be their chendol which is full of ingredients and generous gula melaka syrup. The other famous dessert would be their durian black glutinous rice dessert with ice cream. Hot light snacks such as steamed yam cake, chee cheong fun can be found here too.
