#2024wish Historical site that good you a lively feeling as if you were living at that time. It has many priceless treasures and great scenery. You can walk around at any time as it is open twenty four (24) hours. The place architecture was pretty nice as well. Highly recommended to visit during sunrise or after midnight so you can gaze through the main gate which provides a view between the past and the present/future. I wish to go back here in 2024.

There are several attractions in the shrine: the main hall, the dance hall, the south gate for entry and exit, and the west gate. The main hall is known as a national treasure of Japan. The main hall and the worship hall are two buildings, but they have the same cypress roof. This is the most unique architectural style of "Gion-zukuri". The dance hall is where wedding ceremonies and various devotional activities are held, such as Maiko performances. The lanterns are very eye-catching at night, and the photos taken there are very mysterious. The main entrance is the Nanlou Gate, where the Gion Festival and wedding sedan chairs depart.
