    When traveling to Yantai, don't miss Yantai Hill. After visiting Chaoyang Street, continue to climb up to Yantai Hill! / Main attractions: Former US Consulate: History lovers can visit the consulate to learn about the modern history of Yantai. Bingxin Memorial Hall: Bingxin once lived in Yantai, and some of her works are on display here. Longwang Temple: A century-old temple on the hill, where people pray for good weather. Along the way, you can enjoy the beautiful sea view and various historical buildings, and feel the unique charm of Yantai. 2 During the tour, you will pass by the Cheongsam Museum.     Chaoyang Street is the best street to visit in Yantai. Chaoyang Street ✅It is not recommended to drive there, as parking is difficult. You can park at Hongli Fishery Market, which is close by and has many parking spaces. Alternatively, you can park at the east side parking lot of Yantai Mountain Park. Remember to bring a small notebook, as there are many places to get stamps. ✅There are also many places to take photos, such as the panda wall at Manxin Hotel, the umbrella under the rain of roses, Yantai Wall, Zhongshuge Bookstore, etc. During the day, you can see the modern buildings on Chaoyang Street, and at night, it looks even better when the lights are on. ✅There are many small shops on Chaoyang Street, so you can easily find something to buy. I also found a treasure trove of jewelry, with beautiful colors and unique designs. Most of the jewelry is made of stone, which is more textured than plastic. ✅Walk along the main street of Chaoyang Street, and after about 10 minutes from Starbucks, you will reach the First Bathing Beach.     Self-driving Yantai Travel Guide!!

    We chose to drive to Yantai. By the time we arrived, it was already evening, so we found a nearby restaurant and had a casual meal (not sure if it was because our hotel was in a remote area or if Yantai's nightlife isn't very vibrant, but many restaurants were already closed by 10 PM). First Day Itinerary: Yantai Mountain, Jinsha Bay Seaside Park, Tidal Flat, Fisherman's Wharf After breakfast, we headed to Yantai Mountain, still driving ourselves. The scenic area has a parking lot, which is very convenient, and the parking lot is also close to the entrance of the scenic area. No tickets are required for the scenic area, but climbing the tower costs 10 RMB per person. The scenic area is not tiring to explore and takes about 2-3 hours (depending on personal stamina). After descending the mountain, there is a pedestrian street opposite where you can eat and drink, and there are many seafood restaurants. We had lunch there, and during meal times, you need to wait for a table. The menu is mostly seafood. In the afternoon, we went to Jinsha Bay Seaside Park. If you drive, the coastal road is very beautiful (and this coastal road is quite long). There is a parking lot near Jinsha Bay Seaside Park, making parking very convenient. You can see the sea, take photos, and check in here. If you have children, you can also play with them here. After playing here until the evening, you can go tidal flat fishing, but you need to check the tide table. We did tidal flat fishing there, and if you don't have the necessary equipment, you can buy it on-site (prices are reasonable, and you can bargain a bit). After tidal flat fishing, we headed to Fisherman's Wharf. There is a parking lot, which is very convenient. We also had dinner there, and the menu is mainly seafood (a bit pricey since it's by the sea). The night view here is beautiful, and there are some street performers, creating a great atmosphere. Second Day Itinerary: Yangma Island After breakfast, we drove to Yangma Island. This island is also very suitable for self-driving. A self-driving tour of Yangma Island takes about 3-4 hours (depending on the individual). This is our two-day (or more accurately, one and a half days) itinerary.     Went to Yantai, I played everything

    Went to Yantai, what did I play? First, let me tell you what I ate. Picture 2⃣️ (Chilechuan) Everything I ordered was delicious, no disappointments. (Most restaurants here take a break at noon, I was too hungry so I chose this one) Picture 3⃣️ (800 Miles) The sea intestine rice was delicious, it was my first time trying it and I thought it was pretty good. Picture 4⃣️ You must try Shandong cherries when you come to Shandong, this variety is called Crystal, it's really sweeter than Meizao! The only downside is that they bruise easily, and they don't look good after bruising. After talking about food, it's time for me to take a stroll. Picture 5⃣️ is Yantai Mountain, it costs 10💰 to take the elevator up to see the view, it only takes two minutes to come down. If you want to take a photo, it's worth going up, it's not expensive. It's so worth it! 👍 🎈Itinerary: Day1⃣: Nanjing👉Yantai - Golden Sand Beach Seaside Park (The Lonely Whale) 🌊 - Hou Sha Square 🌅 - Wolong Seafood City 🍤 🐳The Lonely Whale: The must-visit spot in Golden Sand Beach Seaside Park! 🌄Hou Sha Square: A must-visit❗ This is one of the best spots to watch the sunset❗ Day2⃣: Yantai Mountain 🏞 - Chaoyang Street 🏛 - Rongxiang Seafood 🍽 - Binhai Square 🌊 - Fisherman's Wharf 🏰 - Nan Hong Street Night Market 🌃 Yantai Mountain Scenic Area: Surrounded by the sea on three sides, it combines mountains, sea, city, port, and exotic ambiences. Climbing up the lighthouse to overlook the whole Yantai's mountains, sea, city, and port is a must! 😜 Chaoyang Street: A European-style retro street with many old buildings, super photogenic! 😎 Don't forget to check in at Rongxiang Seafood, where the ingredients are fresh and the taste is amazing! Yantai Binhai Square: A great place to feed seagulls, right out of Chaoyang Street. Haichang Fisherman's Wharf: Like a fairytale town, it also has a seaside track similar to the one in 'Spirited Away'. Nan Hong Street Night Market: On the way back to the hotel, night markets are more or less the same, but what left a deep impression was a cold snack called spicy chicken that I haven't seen anywhere else 😝 PS: Since I was traveling with my mom, we didn't leave until 4 PM after a nap. If you're energetic, you can visit other attractions in the same direction as the Fisherman's Wharf, see P2 for details. Day3⃣: Yangma Island - Xinyang Restaurant - Yantai👉Nanjing Yangma Island: The jelly-like clear sea, most of the photo spots on Yangma Island are on the west coast. No need for navigation, just head to where there are lots of cars and people. Half a day is enough. The Xinyang Restaurant on the island is very famous and was the best meal of the trip! 😋 Experience Summary: 1⃣ The airport is very far from the city center, so it's recommended to travel by high-speed rail. 🚄 2⃣ Choose to stay in Zhifu District, where the facilities are complete and it's convenient to go anywhere. We stayed at an old-brand five-star hotel, right next to Yantai Mountain, Chaoyang Street, and Binhai Square. You can see the sea from the bed, and there's even a hotel-exclusive viewing platform to watch the sunrise at sea! The price is also affordable. 😃 3⃣ The key to the jelly sea of Yangma Island is the weather and tides. The sea is bluer on sunny days, and the jelly effect is best during the high tide of the active tide. The tide times vary every day, and if you don't know how to read a tide table, just ask the owner of the electric car rental shop. 5⃣ The ring road around Yangma Island is a counterclockwise one-way street and can get congested. It's best to rent an electric car near Tianma Square, usually 💰50 yuan with no time limit. 6⃣ The seafood in Yantai is especially fresh and the portions are generous! Be careful with how much you order! I think the sea intestine rice is just average (maybe my expectations were too high), 💰158 per serving, not as delicious as ordinary fish, shrimp, and crab. 😜 Come to Yantai for a wonderful trip!
