Due to work reasons, I stayed at Y Hostel at 238 Chai Wan Road for the first time. The hotel is located in Youth Square, which is connected to MTR Chai Wan Station and has convenient transportation. There are Huancui Shopping Mall, Xincui Shopping Mall and Xinghua Plaza nearby, making dining and shopping convenient. The hostel is located on the upper floor of Youth Square. It has an elevator and several lifts, as well as barrier-free facilities. There is a student/youth discount, which makes the price cheaper than other accommodations. The reception is on the 12th floor. The check-in procedure is simple. Since no deposit is required, check-in and out are very convenient. This time I booked a balcony room, which is located on the 12th to 14th floors. In fact, the balcony is not very big, but it gives people a feeling of being close to nature, which is a plus! Due to environmental reasons, this hotel does not provide free bottled water, tea bags, coffee bags, etc. Even toothbrushes are missing. If necessary, you can buy them at the reception. This may cause inconvenience to many people, but it is also one of the characteristics of this hostel. This hotel has a lot of free space, many artistic displays, and many check-in spots. The room has two simple single beds, but they are placed on either side and out of sight of the TV. Maybe they hope people won't watch TV when they sleep! The room has enough electrical sockets, but unfortunately there is no USB charging socket, which makes updating inconvenient. The toilet and shower room are separated by glass doors, separating dry and wet areas, and the hygiene conditions are good! The hotel is actually very unique, relaxing and comfortable, but it is located in a relatively remote area of ​​Chai Wan, and the basic facilities in the hotel are discounted due to the lack of environmental protection. I spent a peaceful night with my friend at Y-Loft. During the time of Mid Autumn Festival, most hotels have priced up the room rate. So, I could only find this hostel at Chaiwan. Surprisingly, it upgraded our room with balcony at the top floor. We had girls talk at balcony with mooncakes, fruits and beer. It's really enjoyable night. It costed us only $200 each for this trip! :)

Youth hostel near Chai Wan MTR station, $300 is super cheap! As Chai Wan is relatively humid, the hostel facilities are mostly wooden and feel older and damp, but hygienic, clean and tidy. Free upgrade terrace room, the room is super large, but the terrace actually does not play a role, because can not see the scenery😂 The hostel does not include slippers and toothpaste toothbrushes, shower gel/shampoo are a bottle of wall hanging in the bathroom quite in one, it is recommended to bring your own. I visited Y Hostel in Chai Wan for the first time a while ago and was pleasantly surprised. I particularly liked its spacious and youthful environment. It not only has a gym, but also a shared space, a laundry room, and a sky garden. It has a good value for money.
