Don't take the wrong path for a less crowded family-friendly route in Hangzhou
The Longjing Tea Garden-Jiuxi Water Play Hiking Route in the West Lake Scenic Area of Hangzhou: If you don't want to climb mountains and prefer a less crowded, easy water play, make sure not to go the wrong way.
You have three options:
First, take the sightseeing bus for the entire route,
from Jiuxi Bus Station to Jiulongyuan, Jiuxi Yancun, and Yangmeiling, with prices ranging from 5 to 8 to 12 yuan.
Second, hike: Jiuxi Bus Station to Jiuxi Yanshu, Jiuxi Shibajian, Longjing Village, and Longjing Village Bus Station.
The entire route is about 5km.
This route, with its forests, waterfalls, tea gardens, creeks, and pebble paths, is the first choice for family hiking. The shade from the trees along the way makes it neither sunny nor hot,
suitable for all seasons.
Third, you can take the sightseeing bus from Jiuxi Bus Station to Jiuxi Yancun, then choose to hike to Longjing Village and Shililangdang.
Whichever option you choose, it is recommended to spend more time at Jiuxi Yanshu. We stayed at the Hangzhou Xizhongxi Resort Hotel here,
which is as famous as Lou Wai Lou and is one of the four century-old brands in Hangzhou. The Jiangnan-style green tiles are staggered in height, rustic and romantic.
Right outside the door is Jiuxi Park, with waterfalls. Walking around the path, you can avoid the crowds and play in the water at these spots.
The room has 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, surrounded by the smoky trees of the mountains. The kids were thrilled to see the large screen in the pool courtyard for the first time. The private butler is available 24 hours a day. Dinner is served in the hotel, and breakfast can be delivered to the room the next day, with a choice of Western or Chinese set meals.
Parking is free for hotel guests, and there is a 12% discount on coffee.
If you ask the kids where they like the most, it must be the pool here.
If you have time, you can also visit the nearby Baita Park, take a ride on the green train. The tracks, trains, and station here will fill the kids with joy.
