Conghua is a heavenly paradise in Guangdong, whether you come early or late, its scenery is always different. Xitou Stone Alley is the much larger street in the village of Xitou. There are quaint houses and structures on both sides of the streets. Interesting small houses made out of bricks (plain and some were colored bricks). And the whole road side is full of stores and little kiosks of local specialties. Xitou Stone Alley is a old-looking street yet a very commercial one. A remote tourist village they say. How to get there: Self drive is much preferred because of the remoteness of the place. Xitou village is located in Liangkou Town, Conghua district in Guangzhou city. A little local market is on the entry of the village. As soon as you enter the market, you will see and smell the scent those dried fish and dried squids on the side of the street. Different kinds of fresh fruits local produce are sold here. (my first time to see a yellow dragon fruit). Some odd looking cucumber. As well as products made out from bamboo and wooden stuffs. You can organize unforgettable tour with friends and spend the whole day in this village. 🛖 The village entrance is free but you will pass a check to show your health code and green arrow. 💰 A little close to the village there is a park with a river and waterfall (you can see the pictures). The park ticket is around 58-68 RMB per person and there are carts for transferring visitors the ticket is 10 RMB. 🍲 There are no restaurants in the park but you can find local fool in the village. The heritage and culture of this town should be nominated as Mainland or even World Heritage traveling locations. - Xi Tou Village in a CongHua ( 1 hr drive from Guangzhou) The town with a dry market featuring different kinds of eat and goods. We have stayed in two restaurants for lunch (mud roast chicken, soups , vegetables and rice) as well as beancurd dessert ( MUST TRY, 娣姐豆腐花）which were all exceptional. We bought snacks, toys and dry fruits and all are fantastic. The highlights of this trip was we met a very friendly village dog just like a Shepherd dog who acted as our guide and walked us to the deep village, river and nice scenery around. It's only a 1.5-hour drive from the city, where you can breathe in the fresh air of nature, stroll through the charming ancient village, taste authentic food, catch fish and crabs in the stream, pick vegetables in the field, and hike in the bamboo forest. The best part is that there aren't many people, so it's really relaxing and enjoyable! ☀️ Here's the itinerary: ✅ First, go to Xitou Stone Alley, then to August Wine House, then to Manyuan Tea & Coffee, then to the farm for lunch, then to the mountain stream to play, then to the bamboo forest for a hike, then to Yatou Coffee for a break, then to Adi Tofu Pudding for a taste, and finally, you can head back. 📍 Just navigate to "Conghua Xitou Tourist Village".
