Bohai State Ruins - Xinglong Temple.
Xinglong Temple (South Temple) is located in Bohai Town, Mudanjiang City. The nearest train station is Dongjingcheng Station (there is accommodation in the town, and you can book in advance for National Day for less than 100). General tourists will visit the nearby Jingbo Lake Waterfall and Volcano Crater Underground Forest, ignoring the Bohai State Ruins and Xinglong Temple. You can take a taxi from Dongjingcheng Station or Jingbo Lake Scenic Area and negotiate the price yourself. There are thousand-year-old stone Buddhas, stone lanterns, ancient trees and turtle seats in the temple, which record the rise and fall of the Bohai State, and there is a sense of sadness that all the palaces have become soil. The temple ticket is 20, and it is open until 17:30 on National Day holidays. It is closed in winter and it is recommended to go there a little earlier in the afternoon. It takes half an hour to visit.
