Along the bay there are four or five great hotels, including Marriott and Rezen...The crowds are fewer than Sanya and the hotels are cheaper. Here you can enjoy the big waves and soft sand...it's a perfect place to escape the heat and enjoy the large sea breeze and soak yourself in the warm sea water. #xiangshui

#beachlife Xiangshui Bay is just over an hour from Sanya and if you are looking for a wilder, more untouched feel of nature then come here. The fishermen still come out in an evening with their nets to fish, bird life and flowers are aplenty. We have stayed in the Xiangshui Marriott before and although lovely, it's expensive. This time, we found an apartment a third of the price with the Marriott next door (see photo). We love this area, my husband can surf, my son plays in the waves and I can enjoy relaxing on the beach. We rent a car to come here, it definitely makes it easier. Although the train station is nearby and Didi is available. Come here for a peaceful, beach experience.

Hainan! Lingshui! Step outside and there's a pool! I'll come again next time! Lingshui doesn't have the crowds of Sanya! The seawater is also very clear! This pool homestay is my favorite!
