On one of the top floors of the Shimano Twin Towers you'll find Si Patisserie. It's the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful views of the beaches of Xiamen. Usually when you want to visit a lookout tower, you have to pay a steep entry fee, but if you visit this dessert shop you won't have to pay. You can simply take the elevator to the restaurant and get a seat. Better make a reservation in advance as it's quite a popular location. I stayed at Baishu Guesthouse near Zengcuo'an, and traveled to all of my chosen scenic spots by subway. I recommend a three-day trip as it's just the right amount of time to get a good feel for the area. Day 1: Zhongshan Road, Cat Street, Shapowei, Huangcuo Sand Beach, and Zengcuo'an. Day 2: Yuanlin Botanical Garden, Xiamen University, South Putuo Temple, Baicheng Sand Beach, and Yanwu Bridge. Day 3: Gulangyu Island and Bashi Market (then back to Zhongshan Road for some last minute souvenir shopping!)

Xiamen, Twin Towers, Imay Seaview Hotel Apartment This hotel is the one I recommend the most for my 4-day and 3-night trip to Xiamen with my baby. I have attached my real shots and the nearby Baicheng Beach (the quality of this beach is average, the beach has stones, branches and other debris, it is a bit awkward, but the photos are good, there are several small pieces of coconut grove) Advantages: 1 Large floor-to-ceiling windows, invincible sea view, no obstruction at all 2 Twin beds (1.5 meters) are very friendly to parents and children.
