On the last day of my trip to Xiamen, the continuous cloudy days finally gave way to sunshine. Determined not to miss the coastal scenery, I headed to the beach before leaving. The beach looked particularly dazzling through the lens, but I suddenly missed the cloudy days because it was really too sunny XD
The most impressive thing about Xiamen is the construction of this trail. It is completely a pedestrian path, with no bicycles or electric vehicles passing by. Each has its own designated area. Although I usually don't like to move around much, I would be willing to walk miles for the beautiful scenery along this trail 😄
Of course, if you get tired, you can scan a code by the roadside to rent a shared bike, or you can rent one of those small tricycles at the beach. If you don't want to walk too much, you can choose to ride around this pleasant beach✨

No need to rush through Xiamen's Mountain-Sea Trail · Sea View Line
🌊 The forest line of the Mountain-Sea Trail has always been an excellent angle to overlook the sea view of the Ring Road. Previously, I walked the route 'Meihai Flower Terrace → Wanghu Tower → Wanshi Canghai → Pangui Tower → Music Square', stopping and going along the way, enjoying the sea breeze and sea view.
After walking a long way in Xiamen during the day, I didn't have much energy to walk a long route again. But I still wanted to experience the forest line of the trail, so I directly walked the distance from 'Pangui Tower → Music Square', chatting and stopping to enjoy the scenery. The whole journey took about half an hour.
📍 Directly locate 'Pangui Tower Capsule Staircase', take a taxi here, go up the stairs, and walk a few hundred meters to reach Pangui Tower. The view here is very open.
📷 Then walk from Pangui Tower towards Tianquan Square. When passing by the vicinity of Half Cafe, there is another great angle to take pictures of the scenery of the Ring Road by the sea, with blue sky, clear sea, and green trees.
🎶 After getting off the trail, cross the road to reach Music Square. The beach here is relatively less crowded, not so dense. There are many resting points in the square. but it is definitely one of the most comfortable beaches to walk on in China. Even on the same coastline, you can see different scenery. When tired, you could also ride a bike
or take a public bus for just 1 yuan, and enjoy the sea view from the bus. Otherwise, just find a seaside cafe at will, sit down, feel the sea breeze, and let time slow down.
If I could only stay in Xiamen for one day, I would walk this line:
Huangcuo Beach, Wan Yue Po, Pan Ting, Gui Zhan Dao, Zeng Shan Station, Music Square, Pearl Bay to watch the sunset, pick up luggage from the guesthouse, and head to the high-speed rail station.
