Xiamen Nature Walk, let's go up the mountain and into the sea!
Once again, I came to Xiamen to play. Compared to a few years ago, it's more fun and more beautiful!
👉 Xiamen Botanical Garden
A super large botanical garden built entirely on the mountain. Fortunately, as soon as you enter the south gate of the scenic area, you will find a long segmented elevator, making it easy to climb the mountain without pain!
The misty rainforest world in the botanical garden is so beautiful, but there are also many people taking wedding photos! The succulent plant area, which is also a popular spot, perfectly recreates the same ecological scene as the western desert, and you can even find African baobab trees here.
👉 Wuyuan Bay Beach
You can take the subway to the beach, no wonder the locals in Xiamen seem to love catching the sea and digging in the sand. During low tide, there are many cute little crabs, as well as razor clams and mantis shrimp hiding in the sand, you can dig endlessly! You simply can't dig them all!
Wuyuan Bay Beach is not only convenient in terms of transportation, but there are also many check-in points around the beach: there is the Wuyuan Bay Wetland Park with beautiful natural scenery, and the Wuyuan Bay Yacht Marina, which is not inferior to Sydney's yacht marina, all of which you can enjoy while catching the sea.

Big park
I was recommended to make a trip to the botanical garden when I was visiting Xiamen for the first time and I absolutely loved it. I spent a few hours walking around and could not cover everything. Beautiful flowers and palm trees.
You can actually get some good exercise climbing to the top of the mountain but there are also the option to take the shuttle bus.
The most popular place to take pictures are by the cactuses. They are super cool.

Beautiful Xiamen- Botanical Garden
The Botanical Garden is a bucketlist item when visiting Xiamen. It is located on the southern side of the island, close to Xiamen University, the cable car, Shapowei and Zhongshan Road. It usually costs 40¥ to enter, but entry is free during the major public holidays.
It is recommended to set aside about 3-5 hours to explore the gardens, as there is a lot to see.
The gardens are home to around 4000 different plant species, and are divided in different sections, like the bamboo forrest, succulent garden or Pine and Fern Garden.
There are also plenty of temples to see, and beautiful lawns to have a picnic, or take a nap on.
It is a great place to take the kids, or to see some interesting plants and beautiful scenery

Really nice walk
Lovely tranquil place to have a stroll. Lots of trees give it shade so great if, like me, you don’t like things too hot! Only cost €3 each to go in, guide leaflet in your language was useful and lots of exotic and weird looking plants and trees. Well worth a visit for an hour or so - really strange to see the “big brothers” of our house plants!A lovely place to walk and browse the many different trees and shrubs with a water pond gallery also. Some different and prettily flowering examples from around the world.
Could do with some TLC and maybe even a little refurbishment in some areas, but reasonably enchanting for a small entrance fee.

Took a break from the cold, rainy Shanghai weather to spend a couple of days in sunny Xiamen!
From rooftop cafes, to the massive botanical garden, to Jimei School Village, there are no shortage of sights to see in Xiamen.
One unexpected find was the Railway Cultural Park. What started off as me following an abandoned railway track, wound up being an hour walk along it through changing sceneries with locals playing various games in this makeshift park. I stopped walking after an hour but the railway park continued on as far as the eye could see 🛤
This was my second time in Xiamen and I def see myself going again!

Xiamen Garden Botanical Garden, commonly known as Wanshi Botanical Garden, is located in Wanshi Mountain, southeast of Xiamen Island, Fujian Province. It is backed by Wu Laofeng, Nanputuo Temple and Xiamen University, and is adjacent to Zhongshan Road Commercial Circle. Founded in 1960, it covers an area of 4.93 square kilometers and is the first botanical garden in Fujian Province. It is an important part of Gulangyu-Wanshishan Scenic Area, integrating plant landscape, natural landscape and human landscape.
Xiamen Garden Botanical Garden is the first batch of AAAA-level tourist areas in the country. It is a provincial, municipal and national science education base, the first batch of environmental education bases in Fujian Province and the protection of mother river ecological education base.
There is something special to come today, and it is awesome to find planes and tanks for display in the park unexpectedly! Of course, in addition to aircraft tanks, my favorite is the meaty park, many cacti and succulents, it is great! Come to Xiamen to travel must not miss the network red photo spots!

Pretending to be in Morocco, it is actually a botanical garden and a cafe in Xiamen.

The succulent area of the park is not large. There are phoenix orchids, tall cactus and a prickly pear inside. Many tourists like to come here to take pictures and simulate the desert environment. You can find the visual sense of the Central American desert.

cafe is amazing, not only sitting down to drink coffee to see green plants, but also a micro landscape design company.

Spring is a good place to enjoy flowers - Wanshi Botanical Garden
set plant landscape, natural landscape, human landscape in one of the Wanshi Botanical Garden is a good place to enjoy the spring.
The most impressive is the tropical rain forest area and the succulent area. The tropical rain forest area is beautiful, and the smoke effect will make the whole park
stunned. A lot of Miss Hanfu girls shuttled through the photos to form a beautiful landscape. The succulent area is also a highlight of
, and the various forms of fleshy cactus are really feasting.

Xiamen Garden Botanical Garden, commonly known as Wanshi Botanical Garden, is located in Wanshi Mountain, southeast of Xiamen Island, backed by Wu Laofeng Nanputuo. There are 20 scenes in the new Xiamen, and there are also three scenes in the park: Wanshi Hancui, Tianjie Xiaozhong, Taiping Shixiao.
So if you are tired of the hot spots of those popular attractions, you may wish to take a walk in the botanical garden. Even the flow of people at the entrance is great, but fortunately the botanical garden is big enough to walk away and enjoy it.
Walk into the park with more than 7,000 plants, where you can dance with flowers, live with grass, and carnival with trees, as if walking into the tribute of life, the cradle of everything.
It is not long after entering the park, it is the vast Wanshi Lake. This emerald lake, the calm lake is like a mirror, reflecting the lake and mountains, mapping a parallel world. Whether it is beautiful emotions or deep sorrows, you can enjoy it here.
The botanical garden is very big. It is obviously impossible to travel around every corner in just one day. Try to pick some interesting park tours. Along the winding road to the mountainside, you can see a large cactus. The large succulents and cacti in the outdoor exhibition area are majestic, while the outdoor is a large-scale cactus plant landscaping, which is rare in China.
The green trees and safflowers along the way, as if all the plants were woken up by the sun, emitting a radiant glow, and the warm sunshine gave the surrounding a warm-colored filter. Take a deep breath of warm, humid air, um, this is the breath of the South.
Xiamen Botanical Garden 🕹 West Gate or South Gate Route
Xiamen Botanical Garden is very large, with desert, rainforest, and mountain and sea scenery all in one garden, and is very worth visiting.
▶️ Here are two popular routes:
1⃣ West Gate Route:
✅ Pros: Traditional classic route, concentrated attractions, close to the sightseeing bus (2 minutes walk from the entrance), close to the tropical rainforest and succulent area (10 minutes walk)
❎ Cons: The whole way is uphill, which is fine for ordinary people, but tiring for the elderly and children.
2⃣ South Gate Route:
✅ Pros: You can check in at the popular scenic escalator, take the elevator all the way up, and then walk down the mountain easily. If you take the Zhonggu cableway, you can take the cableway to see the mountains and sea from the South Gate to the West Gate, which is very convenient.
❎ Cons: The South Gate is far from the subway station, and there are few buses, so it is best to take a taxi. It is also far from the popular attractions in the scenic area, so try to take the sightseeing bus when you arrive.
‼️ If you have elderly or children, you can choose to enter from the South Gate, take a taxi, and take the sightseeing bus and escalator in the scenic area. It will be very easy.
🌱 South Gate Route Planning:
Enter from the South Gate ➡️ Walk a few minutes to the scenic escalator ➡️ Take the escalator to the mountain and sea scenic trail ➡️ Walk 7 minutes to the sightseeing bus stop ➡️ Arrive at the succulent area ➡️ Walk 3 minutes to the tropical rainforest area ➡️ Walk 10 minutes to the West Gate ➡️ There is a Zhonggu cableway outside the West Gate
‼️ Notes 🚸
1⃣ If you want to go to the Zhonggu cableway, you need to choose the South Gate to West Gate route
2⃣ Make a reservation for the Zhonggu cableway in advance
3⃣ Sightseeing bus 💶 5 yuan for one stop, 10 yuan for a pass. Every 10 minutes
4⃣ Rainforest spray time is attached in picture 2
