Shanghai. Wu Kang Road, a popular spot for trendsetters.
As an international metropolis, Shanghai has many popular check-in spots. Here are some of them:
1. Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower: As a landmark of Shanghai, the tower has a space capsule, revolving restaurant, Shanghai City History Development Exhibition Hall, and other attractions and facilities. It is one of the must-visit attractions for tourists.
2. 1192 Lane Old Shanghai Style Street: Here reproduces the style of old Shanghai. The mottled Shikumen, old record player, tram and other elements make people feel as if they have traveled back to old Shanghai.
3. Xintiandi: Based on Shanghai's unique Shikumen old building area, it has been transformed into a leisure pedestrian street integrating catering, commerce, entertainment, and culture. It is a place to experience the combination of old and new Shanghai.
4. Tianzifang: This is a gathering place for literary youths. There are many gourmet snack shops and literary shops. It is known as "Xintiandi No. 2".
5. Shanghai Museum of Glass: The first industry museum in Asia that comprehensively displays glass art. The outer wall is inlaid with more than 4,800 transparent glass bricks, which is particularly beautiful under the night light.
6. The Bund: One of the most representative attractions in Shanghai, there are 52 classical revival buildings with different styles. The Bund has recently upgraded its lights and has become an excellent place for check-in and photography.
7. Shanghai Disneyland: Disneyland is not only a paradise for children, but also a place for adults to find their childhood. The fireworks show at night is not to be missed.
8. Shanghai Ocean Aquarium: An internationally first-class modern large-scale ocean aquarium, exhibiting rare fish from all over the world, and one of the longest underwater tunnels in the world.
9. Wu Kang Road: Known as the "celebrity road that condenses Shanghai's modern history for nearly a hundred years", there are many excellent historical buildings, which is a good place to go shopping in late autumn.
10. 1933 Old Millfun: Originally a slaughterhouse of the Ministry of Industry, it has now been transformed into a well-known art park in Shanghai, gathering artist galleries, concert halls, restaurants, shops, etc.
These places not only have unique historical and cultural values, but also represent the modern Shanghai fashion trend, which is very suitable for taking pictures and check-in. 📸👣🚶🏻♂️➡️🍹👍

A Stroll from Wukang Road to Anfu Road in Shanghai at Sunset
Upon arriving in Shanghai, I made it a point to visit the stretch from Wukang Road to Anfu Road. This area is one of the most artistic neighborhoods in Shanghai, blending history with modernity.
Walking along Wukang Road at sunset, the first thing that catches the eye is the French plane trees lining both sides, creating an incredibly comfortable atmosphere. The street is dotted with well-preserved old Western-style houses, exuding a rich historical charm that makes me feel as if I've traveled back to Shanghai of the last century.
Reaching Anfu Road, the atmosphere becomes even more artistic. The street is lined with a variety of small shops, including cafes, bookstores, and art galleries, attracting many young artists and tourists. I chose a small café to sit down and enjoy a cup of aromatic coffee, savoring the tranquil afternoon. Not far from Anfu Road, there are also some independent designer shops showcasing the creations of local artists.
This sunset stroll from Wukang Road to Anfu Road not only allowed me to appreciate Shanghai's history and culture but also let me experience the city's unique artistic vibe. Every step was full of surprises, deepening my impression of Shanghai. It was truly a wonderful journey!

You should know that there are so many people taking photos of Wukang Building!
Organize two positions to avoid the crowd~
1⃣️You can avoid the roadside by standing on the steps at the bank entrance opposite Wukang Building (Figure 2)
‼️Don't use wide-angle, use 2X focal length for mobile phones, and use 50 focal length for cameras
2⃣️The roadside lamppost at the entrance of the Shuangxi Old Shop opposite the bank, the person leaning against the street lamp is very good!
‼️Don't use wide-angle to avoid the crowd. The light in the afternoon is better for shooting Wukang Building

Who knows! Leaving Shanghai is even more painful than a breakup.
Shanghai Citywalk is on fire recently
Modern urban young people no longer have the courage to go on a whim
Urban hiking is also a good choice
The charm of Citywalk is
You never know what surprises you will encounter at the next intersection
And Shanghai is really the ceiling of the street
Plane trees, old houses, summer light and shadow
Go with the flow, use your feet and camera to record this city📸
I have sorted out the street sweeping strategy for you, friends who want to meet this summer can remember it first🗽
1️⃣Wukang Road: The 1183-meter-long Wukang Road condenses the famous people's road in Shanghai in the past century. On the sycamore Wukang Road, there are not only Wukang Building, but also more than 30 celebrity residences and Internet celebrity check-in windows;
2️⃣Gao'an Road: Although it is adjacent to the bustling Wukang Road, it is a quiet South French style street, especially the garden house at No. 11 Gao'an Road, the earthy yellow wall, the brown French arch and windows, standing in front of the house, it feels like a second. Crossed to South France;
3️⃣Taiyuan Road: Taiyuan Road in summer is really beautiful, especially the green building at the intersection is already lush, full of green walls, looking from a distance, it seems like a green castle, there is also a retro and elegant Taiyuan villa nearby, tired You can drink a cup of Internet celebrity OPS coffee;
4️⃣Changle Road: A road with characters, stories, and history. In the old days of Shanghai, it was called Pushi Road. From literati to politicians, they have been closely related to this road. Even today, as one of the representatives of the famous rich in the magic city, Changle Road is still full of sentiment and story;
5️⃣Anfu Road: A long-standing Internet celebrity road, the short 900-meter Anfu Road mixes multi-national styles, half old-fashioned, half modern, this is the center of trendy Internet celebrity street shooting, lively and noisy, but if you come before ten in the morning, you will find Different Anfu Road;
6️⃣Yuyuan Road: The name of Yuyuan Road has not changed for a century. From the old Shanghai Paramount, Jing'an Temple, to countless Internet celebrity shops now. I like the HOW restaurant on the street, full of white Mediterranean style, just like Santorini;
7️⃣Wuyuan Road: Wang this quiet and very lively road is the location of many movie scenes. It can be walked in ten minutes. There are many historical buildings, Zhang Leping's former residence, China Welfare Institute, etc. are all here;
8️⃣Fuxing West Road: Fuxing West Road is quiet in the middle of trouble, and it is calm and introverted in its bones. In the early years, there were high-end residences along the way, garden houses and Western-style high-rise apartments were scattered all over the place. It used to be the favorite place for Shanghai literati and scholars;

Beautiful Walk Along Wukang Road in Shanghai 🇨🇳
Exploring Wukang Road in Shanghai was like stepping into a picturesque, European-inspired neighborhood. This historic street is lined with beautifully preserved French Concession-era buildings, each with its own unique charm. As I wandered along the tree-lined avenue, I discovered chic cafes, boutique shops, and art galleries tucked into the historic architecture. For the best experience, visit early in the morning when the street is quiet, allowing you to capture stunning photos without crowds. Don’t miss the iconic Wukang Mansion. a stunning example of 1920s architecture. It’s a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll and to soak in Shanghai’s rich history.

If you ever want to feel some mix culture and experience when you travel, Wu Kang Road in Shanghai is one of the spots!
The moment you enter into this road, immediately you will feel the difference of busy Shanghai town vs European infused building, top up with the cold weather, I thought that this trip worth more than I could imagine.
There are a lots of attraction spots in this area such as Romeo & Juliet balcony, Flower in balcony on building facade, and also the famous must take picture cross road (something similar like Shibuya cross road but less crowd).

Shanghai's Most Beautiful "Wutong French Concession" Literary Stroll Citywalk
When I lived in Shanghai for a short time, I loved the Xuhui French Concession the most. The plane trees are lush and green. The old houses, restaurants, bookstores, cafes and various small shops along the road are very charming. Shanghai Library Station No. 1, Metro Line 10 Exit from Hunan Road - "Yongfu Road -" Fuxing West Road - "Wukang/Anfu Road -" Changle Road, etc. The cultural landscape and historical buildings are relatively concentrated, and the natural lighting on the boulevards has a good mood, nostalgic and modern impact ❤️Cycling and walking are very pleasant
📍Wukang Road: It should be the most popular road to check in, whether it is Wukang Building, Soong Ching Ling’s former residence, Romeo’s Balcony, and countless beautiful literary and youth cafes! Rosa Gallica is like a fairyland flower shop, you should also visit it
📍Anfu Road: There are many literary cafes and bistros where you can stay all day long. Rac coffee is a European cuisine, French crepe or brunch that I highly recommend. It is a super internet celebrity restaurant👍
📍Hunan Road: Very suitable for admiring the beautiful fallen leaves in autumn, Hunan villas, former residences of celebrities, densely populated cafes, full of French flavor!
📍Fuxing West Road: It is very suitable for taking pictures, especially Wutong Street with a sense of story. It is a gathering place for Shanghai literati and artists.
📍Changle Road: The sentimental Zhang Ailing has spawned many romantic stories. There are many restaurants here. My favorite bungalow 333 is here. Solo Garden and Solo Cafe can also satisfy your taste buds~
💯The reason why Shanghai is a magic city is its variety and charm of integrating Chinese and Western cultures. I especially love the intellectual atmosphere and leisurely pace of the French Concession. There are endless restaurants and sketches waiting for you to discover!

🍴 藜涵食府(武康路店)
Introducing the wonton restaurant 藜涵食府(武康路店) on Wukang Road, a rising hot place in Shanghai. If you come to Shanghai, you must eat wonton. Wonton is a southern Chinese dumpling with thin skin and vegetables inside.
I ate too much meat during my trip to Shanghai, so I looked for something clean and light. I ordered wonton, tofu skin pancake, wonton noodles, oyster mushrooms, and fried tofu noodles.
The soup was clean and not spicy, so it was comfortable, and the pancake was so soft and had a cinnamon flavor that I couldn't stop thinking about it.
Since the restaurant is on Wukang Road, it's also good for traveling around Wukang Road. If you want to eat comforting wontons, I recommend this restaurant 🇨🇳❤️

Shanghai Autumn City Walk Route
🎐Dingxi Road - Shangsheng News - Xinhua Road - Happiness Road - Hunan Road - Wukang Road - Fuxing West Road - Hengshan Road - Yueyang Road - Fenyang Road✌🏻
Actually, I walked this section in two days, but I didn't leave until two or three in the afternoon, so if you leave in the morning, you have plenty of time to finish in one day~ From Happiness Road to Hunan Road, it takes about 10 minutes by bike. There is no need for a fixed route for Shanghai's city walk, any road nearby is very good for shooting, and the recent weather could not be more suitable📸

Come and go to Wukang Road in Shanghai! Taking photos feels like taking photos of the Shanghai version of the Arc de Triomphe🤣
On this day we came to Shanghai’s popular attractions in recent years, check in at the Wukang Road Building, take the subway and get off at Shanghai Library Station. If you will take the subway multiple times a day, it is recommended to buy a one-day ticket, which we have today We bought a one-day ticket, so we kept using the subway to go to various attractions.
Along Wukang Road, there will be some small shops, cafes, and restaurants from time to time. If you are tired from shopping, you can go in and take a rest☕️
After walking to the back, we finally arrived at our destination - Wukang Building. There are about five traffic lights in front of the building. To take pictures of the buildings on each side, you have to wait for these five traffic lights. This is why I said that it is like taking pictures of the Arc de Triomphe. It takes a while to wait on the road to take a beautiful photo🥹🥹
After taking beautiful photos and checking in, we continued walking along the road. There were fallen sycamore leaves along the road, which was very artistic. I also saw many couples taking wedding photos here🥰

ARCHITECTURAL 💎 GEMS IN 📍SHANGHAI
The so called Normandie Apartments 🏘️ stand at the intersection🚏 of Huaihai road and Wukang road.
They came to be known as the Wukang buildings in 1953 after an architect by the name of Hudec drew blueprints for the building.
Today they are recognized as one of the modern day symbols of Old Shanghai ⚓️
It's worth a visit to see these beautiful historic buildings that are still standing.

When traveling to Shanghai, these attractions on Wukang Road are worth checking out.
Attraction 1: Wukang Road Historical and Cultural Street
The numerous garden villas and houses on Wukang Road and its surrounding blocks, as well as the cultural celebrities who once lived here, have contributed to the historical and cultural heritage of Wukang Road. Take Metro Line 10 to Jiaotong University Station, then walk to the intersection of Huaihai West Road and Wukang Road, and start your Wukang Road tour from Wukang Building. There is a "Wukang Road Tourist Information Center" on Wukang Road, a two-story small house facing the street. It uses a variety of physical models and exhibition boards to systematically introduce the main architectural styles and characteristics of the historical and cultural street of Wukang Road.
Attraction 2: Wukang Building
This European-style building located at the intersection of downtown Shanghai is a landmark building in the historical and cultural street of Wukang Road and is still in normal use. Tourists are not allowed to enter the building at will, but the cafes in the group buildings have a constant flow of customers.
Attraction 3: Ba Jin’s Former Residence
This garden villa in the city center, where Ba Jin has lived and worked for a long time, is now open to the public for free. Ba Jin's former residence is a European independent garden villa residence with a construction history of nearly a hundred years.

Shanghai is filled with secret alley ways and walk ways. Most of the time I would turn a corner and be greeted by an amazingly designed pedestrian walkway. This is becoming more frequent as I’m started to find much more of them around Shanghai.
Wukang Lu is no exception. The outside looks ok and there are a couple of restaurants for side to side. But if you walk in you will enter a place filled with art galleries, Flower shops and import stores. with bags made in Europe to Persian rugs.
This is defiantly a place to go explore for a couple of hours and grab a bite to eat afterwards. I would definitely recommend this place for a day visit on the week end. 😄#tigeryear2022 #staycation

Sichuan Citizen New Years
What a great place to spend Chinese New Years. This upscale Sichuan restaurant is amazing. This place is a great combination of Classical Chinese food and am great architecture and interior design.
🌶 The food is all slightly spicy with some exceptions and are very well done. my compliments to the chefs as they always manage to make the food delicious every time, the Mapo Tofu was great.
🖼 The area is around it is pretty nice. There are couple of cafes and in the restaurant is a bar where you can get a couple of drinks.
All in all the experience was great. Great place for a date or a get together for a big group of friends. I’ve also taken business clients there to show them Chinese cuisine with a high end twist.
