Snow One Ice and Snow Park is located on the 6th Floor, New World City, Nanjing West Road Shanghai China We paid 128 rmb for the ticket and that includes rental ice skating shoes plus a free disposable gloves and socks. You just need to give the stubs and tell to the counter what is your shoe size. There is also an ice park next to the ice rink, although the site is not very big, but there is real snow for the children to experience. A Charcoal is a gorgeous (and expensive) Japanese restaurant located in Shanghai Centre. This restaurant has a simple but elegant ambience, perfect for a romantic date or a meeting that requires privacy. Menus are in English, Japanese and Chinese. So many seafood 🦞 and meat 🥩 options to chose is hard to decide. Also, you will spend minimum 350 RMB in a dinner, of two dishes and no drinks. Drinks are mostly sold in bottle, so add a couple more hundreds. Presentation of the dishes is gorgeous, mostly focused on wangyu barbecue. Although everything looked delicious, I went for a simple beer and a daifuku (also called daifukumochi, popular Japanese cakes made from a chewy glutinous rice). Very simple but also very good. Pistolera is a popular Mexican food restaurant in Shanghai. This branch is the new location for West Nanjing, next to the Portman Ritz-Carlton hotel. During the day, Pistolera is a great restaurant to visit for brunch. Very little people and delicious food, during the night it becomes a crowded and fun place to hangout with your friends. If you like to consider a brunch date (specially if is a blind date), this is a perfect spot. Gives you the privacy you want, in a safe location (for inside the building and many people moving around). My favorite dish in Pistolera is the Tortilla soup, a taste from home. Along East & West Nanjing there is an amazing quantity of shopping 🛍 malls. The external design of some malls look quite similar, however the facade may not fully show you the magic hidden inside the building. Westgate Mall is a fancy small mall in Nanjing West Road. It has many international brands, as well as popular Chinese brands. Mostly for clothing. In this second floor, you can find a department store for make up and perfumes. Some areas of the mall are under remodeling/construction. On the first floor, there’s a cute popular café and a piano that plays by itself, giving a particularly nice ambience. The roof decoration is extremely beautiful. Something that really captured my attention was the nice restroom only for breastfeeding women, or women with babies. This restroom had a sofa 🛋 and a diaper changing table. These Flower & Plant shop offers from roses 🌹, flower 🌸 arrangements, succulents and other decorative plants for your house, apartment or office. I love how simple arrangements can look so sophisticated, specially when you add different flowers with similar color (lilac shades arrangement, pic 1). You have many options of flowers to chose, depending of your own creativity. All arrangements and flowers are fresh. Personally, I’m a plant person. Often, I chose to buy my plants 🪴 and flowers 🌺 in pots. Nevertheless, once in a while I love to treat myself with a gorgeous flower bouquet 💐 and try to plant them (sadly, roses always die). This weekend, Shanghai holds its famous World’s Coffee Cultural Festival in Jing’an district. Therefore, I decided to go on a quest to try different coffee shops and stands. Be aware this festival is only open for three days, although most of the stands are coffee shops you can visit afterwards. Nikko and ... it’s a big shop-cafe in Wujiang Rd. This is one of the places I find more curious, not only because this coffee shop sells vintage mugs, seeds and some coffee-related products, but also cactus 🌵 (yes, live plants) and clothes. All imported from Japan, and India. For these upcoming summer days, having a nice place that offers you coffee, nice ambience, nice view and Happy Hour, it’s more than anything you can ask.
