Not in a foreign country, this is Nanshan in Xinjiang, you will regret if you don't come
I'm in Urumqi, I joined a private tour to Nanshan Pasture. I was torn between Tianshan Tianchi and Nanshan Pasture for a long time, and finally chose Nanshan. The reasons are 1. You can ride a horse into the mountain in Nanshan 2. Tianshan Tianchi is all snow and you have to climb the mountain in the cold. In the end, I found that the choice was too correct!! Every frame of Nanshan made me scream!
Nanshan is divided into Xibaiyanggou + Wulastai Grassland + Juhuatai.
Xibaiyanggou occupied the main tour time, that is, riding a horse into the mountain, an hour talked to 50, the safety officer is also 50/h. Two people were paired with a safety officer into the mountain.
Here's a tip, this time is the total time, in the middle will let you get off the horse at the horse station to see the waterfall, actually there is no waterfall in winter, and have to walk super long, the scenery along the way is the same, suggest to walk forward for about five or six minutes after getting off the horse and then return. So we walked from the horse to the waterfall and then walked back for about 40 minutes, and it was extremely cold, and then rode the horse back, which took a total of 2 hours. I thought it was only the horse riding time before I went, naive.
But I have to say, Xibaiyanggou is very photogenic! And the horse riding time is quite long, it's a very different experience!
Xibaiyanggou consumed too much energy, so I didn't go to see Wulastai Grassland, because in winter it's just a piece of snow.
Finally! Juhuatai is beautiful! When you get there, there will be people selling horse rides up there, 20/person, and then walk down. There's no need at all! It's quick to walk up by yourself, and the scenery along the way is really good. In winter, there are hardly any people in Juhuatai. If you stand still and don't speak, it's really quiet. I haven't had this kind of outdoor experience without any sound for a long time.
