Wenshu Monastery
This temple, which was built during the Sui Dynasty, is located in the bustling city of Chengdu and is the most intact Buddhist temple in Chengdu. The temple architecture combines the characteristics of western Sichuan residences and Buddhist buildings. Upon entering, you will pass through the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Hall of Three Great Men, the Hall of Great Heroes, the Dharma Hall, and the Sutra Tower, all of which are wooden structures. The temple houses many Buddha statues, including Sakyamuni Buddha, Medicine Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, Samantabhadra, Manjusri, Guanyin, etc.
