I have personally been to Wat Tha Sung 2-3 times and I really like it. It is very beautiful. When you enter the temple, you feel cool and feel like you have ascended to heaven. This is another interesting temple. You have to try it. When you come to this temple, you will feel much calmer. To get there, the temple is right next to the road. There will be a sign. #VisitUthaiThani #WatThaSung

Wat Tha Sung, Uthai Thani
Wat Tha Sung, or Wat Chantaram, located in Nam Suem sub-district, Mueang Uthai Thani district, Uthai Thani province, is known for its Golden Castle or Kanjanapisek Golden Castle, adorned with gold. Originally built during the Ayutthaya period, it has a small chapel with wall murals depicting the life of Buddha, painted by local artisans. A must-see is the replica of the Phra Phuttha Chinnarat, a beautiful principal Buddha image enshrined within the 100-meter-tall Crystal Grand Hall. The hall is surrounded by white mosaics and mirrors that reflect beautifully. Moreover, to bring good fortune to oneself, one must pay respects to the body of Luang Phor Ruesi Ling Dam, which has not decayed, enshrined within a glass coffin on a golden pedestal. Even though Luang Phor Ruesi Ling Dam, a famous monk from Uthai Thani, has passed away, seeking blessings is considered auspicious. The temple is open daily from 08:00 to 16:00. If you are passing by, you are welcome to visit.

Visit the Glass Temple at Wat Tha Sung
Take a trip to the 100-meter glass temple to pay homage to the replica of Phra Buddha Chinnarat and the remains of Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam at Wat Tha Sung.
Wat Chantharam is an ancient temple built during the Ayutthaya period. Locals like to call it Wat Tha Sung because in the past, this area was an important waterway and there were many log rafts. Log rafts often stopped to rest in front of the temple, which is why this place is commonly called Wat Tha Sung.
In the early Rattanakosin period, the person who restored the temple was Luang Por Yai. The temple began to develop and become more well-known when Phra Ratchaphromyan or Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam built important buildings in the temple, all of which are exquisitely beautiful. People from all directions come here to pay homage to the sacred objects for good fortune. There are also many disciples who believe in Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam, making Wat Tha Sung famous to this day.
The surrounding area of the temple is decorated with white mosaics and mirrors that reflect each other, making the entire temple sparkling. This is also where the immortal remains of Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam are kept in a glass coffin.
The Glass Temple is open for viewing 2 times a day: 09.00-11.30 and 13.00-16.00.

When I arrived in Uthai, I thought of the great kindness of Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam
Because it was a story of a teacher that my father and mother told me when I was young. His name and stories have been absorbed into my memory since I was a child. My father also gave me a sacred object of Luang Por to wear for protection. Today, the opportunity brought me to pay homage for the first time. I felt that it was a good day to wait for the wind to blow and bring me to the beautiful Buddhist temple.
At Wat Tha Sung or Wat Chantharam, located in Nam Seum Subdistrict, Mueang District, Uthai Thani Province, traveling by private car, the route is convenient.
The atmosphere of the temple is organized, proportionate and clean. The temple area is wide. There are many places to walk and rest. The temple has a lot of parking and we can take a golf cart that the temple has prepared for service. Look around the temple to enjoy the atmosphere and the shade. I secretly told my beloved ones that in the late afternoon or evening is good because the sun is fading and the wind is cool. They charge 20 baht.
But today, I would like to pay homage and visit the beautiful white temple decorated with sparkling glass. In the glass temple, pay homage to the Sirirangkarn of Luang Por Ruesi Lingdam and pay respect to the principal Buddha image first…pa
