🚗The last trip on the day of visiting Ang Thong
Wat Sangkratai is another day that is not far from Wat Muang. It is easy to travel to.
🛕For us, going inside the day looks very intimidating. It seems to have some kind of energy. Especially the area with the hermit, it feels even more intimidating. But inside the temple, the atmosphere is shady, there is a cool breeze blowing comfortably, and there are three or four shops selling things.
🚶♀️ Let's go and see everyone. To feel like we #received a discount without relying on luck

Sangkratai Temple
Wat Sangkratai, Ang Thong Province
🙏It is an ancient and beautiful temple with Bodhi trees surrounding the chapel, making it unique and beautiful like no other temple. It is estimated to have been built before the Ayutthaya period and is more than 400 years old. It was originally called Wat Sam Kratai, but later it was changed to Wat Sangkratai.
🍃The chapel has 4 large old Bodhi trees covering the chapel. There are 3 rooms in total.
🍀The left room has Luang Pho Kaen.
🍀The middle room has Luang Pho Wan Dee as the large principal Buddha image, Luang Pho Si and Luang Pho Suk.
🍀The right room has Pu Som and Pu Phaya Nak for worship and blessing.
🪷Although the chapel of Wat Sangkratai does not have a roof, it is very shady because it is shaded by the Bodhi trees that cover it. The chapel walls of this temple are old and dilapidated, but the reason they are still standing is because of the roots of the Bodhi trees. And the church walls are held in place very well, allowing the church walls to remain standing.

Wat Sangkratai Unseen Ang Thong
Wat Sangkratai is located in Sala Daeng Subdistrict, Mueang Ang Thong District, Ang Thong Province. The highlight of this temple is that the chapel is covered by four large ancient banyan trees.
The chapel of Wat Sangkratai does not have a roof, but it is very shady due to the shade from the banyan trees that cover it. The walls of the temple's chapel are in an ancient and dilapidated state, broken in places, but they are still standing because of the banyan tree roots that have grown and clung to the walls well.
Inside the chapel is the same, and there are a total of 3 rooms inside. In the first room, there is Luang Phor Kaen enshrined. Next is the large room that has Luang Phor Wandee as the main Buddha image, with Luang Phor Sri and Luang Phor Suk being smaller in size.
This temple was originally called Wat Sam Kratai, but later the pronunciation changed to Wat Sangkratai. The temple is over 400 years old, and it is believed to have been built even before the Ayutthaya period. There are stories that about 100 years ago, there were monks residing here, but there were often quarrels among the monks, leading the locals to believe that the temple was cursed. Eventually, it became an abandoned temple with no monks residing.
