We arrived the temple at 9am morning, luckily it was uncrowded. We had spent around 2 hours there, I'm really impressed by its magnificent architecture, intricate details and serene atmosphere, also making it a perfect place for history and architerural enthusiasts. The massive Reclining Buddha with intricate golden features is the highlight of the temple. There are many monuments and small statues too. Apart of that, beside the temple has traditional Thai massage services and with affordable price. ⏩ This is a religious place, proper dress code required. ▶Wat Pho is open everyday from 8am - 7.30pm. ▶Admission fee: THB 300 per entry. 🚉 Getting there: The easiest way to go to the temple is via MRT(Blue Line), just buy a ticket to Sanam Chai Station and use exit no. 1, from there walk to the temple directly in 5 min. 📍Location: 2 Sanam Chai Rd, Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand.

It was a short trip to Bangkok with family. Just to recommend some of the amazing places and restaurants that we loved 🥰 We visited The Grand Palace. It is a former royal residence, showcasing stunning architecture and the revered Emerald Buddha. The building was very beautiful and worth to visit. 📍Na Phra Lan Road, Phra Nakhon. I would also recommend you to visit Wat Pho. It is famous for the Reclining Buddha statue and as a traditional massage school. We spent half day exploring around had a lot of street food nearby ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📍 2 Sanamchai Road, Phra Nakhon. We also visited the famous Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn). The Iconic riverside temple known for its towering spires. The central prang (tower) of Wat Arun is decorated with colorful porcelain and seashells, which create intricate patterns. We walked around slowly to admire the detailed craftsmanship and the beautiful spires. 📍158 Thanon Wang Doem, Wat Arun, Bangkok Yai Last but not least, I would also recommend you to visit Jim Thompson House. A museum in a traditional Thai house dedicated to the American silk entrepreneur, Jim Thompson. The highlight of visiting Jim Thompson House is the guided tour. Knowledgeable guides took us through the six traditional Thai-style houses that make up the complex, explaining the history of the house, Jim Thompson's life, and the artifacts he collected. It is very worth to visit 🙌🙌🙌 📍6 Soi Kasemsan 2, Rama 1 Road, Pathumwan. As for local Thai food, I would recommend you to try Jay Fai. It is Famous for its Michelin-starred street food, particularly the crab omelette 🦀 📍327 Maha Chai Road, Samran Rat, Phra Nakhon. If you prefer a decent restaurant, you can check out the Gaggan Anand. A renowned fine dining restaurant. The food was very lovely as well as the staffs. The price was reasonable. Again with the Bangkok temples. Wat Pho is known for being home to The Reclining Buddha but actually this area is huge, it took me a good hour of wandering around to reach the Buddha area. (It’s actually right beside the entrance!) Entrance costs 200baht - special area for foreigners to enter into. Explore the various colours and styles of pagodas and temple buildings around Wat Pho. I entered around 1pm, it wasn’t particularly busy, the reclining Buddha area was very busy though, expect to wait for a chance to snap photos.

Amazing Wat Pho 😍

Spent a few hours with my good friend in amazing Wat Pho, one of the must-visit tourist attractions in Bangkok. It is open for visitors since 8 AM in the morning. I visited it at 3 PM in the afternoon and I enjoyed it so much. Walking around the Wat Pho was very fun for me. Besides of the beautiful temple, it also has the wonderful Reclining Buddha. Finally got to see it in person after many times of watching its video or photo on social media! Since it is a Buddhism temple area, we have to pay attention to several rules and behavior as well ☺️ Entrance fee of Wat Pho is 200 Baht. You can come here with several options of transportation.
