reclining Buddha temple🙏🏼
#wheretogo
Within the ancient city of Chiang Mai, Thailand, I discovered an unnamed but serene reclining Buddha temple. I arrived here in the morning to find a Buddhist temple featuring a large and majestic reclining Buddha statue, bathed in golden hues. In front of the statue, there were offerings and fresh flowers, and I paid my respects with folded hands.
The temple's interior walls adorned exquisite murals depicting various Buddhist elements. Adjacent to the main temple, there was another beautifully designed Buddhist building, although it was closed during my visit, preventing me from exploring its interior.
In summary, this was a profoundly sacred place, characterized by its impressive architecture, the reverence it inspired, and the intricate Buddhist artwork that adorned its walls.

Muen Ngen Kong Temple or Wat Mayom Kong is another old temple in Chiang Mai Province. was built during the Mangrai Dynasty during the reign of King Kue Na, built in 1527, and received the royal charter of the boundary markers in 1528. Inside the temple, there is a traditional Lanna style chapel, an ancient half concrete, half timberland building with beautiful carvings. Inside, there is a principal Lanna style Buddha statue. The walls and pillars are painted vermillion and decorated with gold patterns, looking very intricate and unusual. There is also the reclining Buddha Wihan is a reclining the Buddha statue in the Lanna Chiang Mai style, seated on a lotus pedestal. The atmosphere is quite suitable for worshiping to receive good fortune, money, and gold.
