Wat Metta Dharma Phothiyan
#BeautifulTemplesAroundThailand
In Thailand, there are still many places for us to explore. Especially in the provinces, some places we hardly know exist. Since we are not in Kanchanaburi, Bomiko would like to recommend another beautiful temple. Let me tell you, even though it is not 100% complete, it is very beautiful. If anyone has never been there, it is a big mistake.
Wat Metta Dharma Pothiyan is a beautiful temple in Kanchanaburi Province, surrounded by valleys. The atmosphere is shady and quiet. The temple is made entirely of wood and has beautiful carvings and patterns in Chinese architecture. Inside, there is also a thousand-armed Guanyin Bodhisattva or Guanyin with a thousand hands in four directions, carved from wood, 12 meters high.
Wat Metta Dharma Pothiyan, a Chinese Mahayana temple, whose Chinese name in Chinese is "Chi Pui So Pu Tee Sieim Yi", was started in 1994 by Phra Ajahn Yen Mong from Wat Pho Yen, Tha Maka District, who traveled on a pilgrimage to practice Dhamma and saw that this place was suitable for building a temple. This led to the establishment of the Metta Dharma Bodhiyan Foundation and the purchase of land rights from the villagers to build this temple. #Worship #Thai Temple #Beautiful Temple
