Wat Ku Prapachai Address:

Khon Kaen City Prang Ku
I didn't think Khon Kaen would have a stone castle.
Prang Ku Prapachai is located in Tambon Bua Yai, Amphoe Nam Phong, Khon Kaen Province. The Fine Arts Department registered it as an ancient site in 1935.
Prang Ku Prapachai is a religious site of the Arokhayasala in Khmer art, built with laterite and sandstone. It was built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII of the ancient Khmer Empire around the 18th Buddhist century (1720-1780). It is surrounded by a laterite wall.
In front is a large pond or Baray, which is believed to be a sacred well. The water in the pond never dries up or overflows, but is full all year round.
In addition, there is Luang Pho Ku and sacred stones for the general public to worship in the north of Prang Ku, near the ordination hall of Wat Ku Prapachai. It is a museum that collects many antiques.

Prasat Ku Praphachai
Prang Ku Prapachai
Or known as “Ku Ban Na Kham Noi” is an ancient site built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII of the Khmer Empire around the 18th Buddhist century. The distinctive feature is the square-shaped main prang with a projecting front porch, surrounded by a wall and a gopura on the east side. Inside the temple, there is a local museum exhibiting history and Luang Por Ku, which the villagers respect. There is also a sacred well that is believed to never dry up and is used in various important ceremonies. The atmosphere is shady and suitable for visiting and studying history.

Wat Ku Prapachai
#summerdream Wat Ku Prapachai This temple has an old castle and a sacred well. It is a tourist attraction in Khon Kaen that should be visited once if anyone visits Khon Kaen. Wat Ku Prapachai or some people call it Ku Ban Na Kham Noi is a Khmer architecture built with red stone. Next to it is a sacred well that is used for the ritual of scooping holy water for various coronation ceremonies. Anyone who visits Khon Kaen Province, don't forget to stop by and pay homage here. I highly recommend Wat Ku Prapachai.
